thanks for posting the video. My son and d-in-l live there. Really enjoyed the sights and sounds of Peoria--the city takes pride in it's curb appeal, amazed at how gorgeous the flora and fauna are. Everything a person could want is there--retail therapy galore, close to both Glendale and Phoenix...we visited middle of march, 2018. I can see why folks flock to this part of the state--so much to see and do! Weather was great..no snow lol.

Thinking of moving to AZ from San Diego California and Peoria’s on my list of areas mainly because of how close it seems to be to the lake and good hunting in AZ. But do you recommend Peoria over somewhere like Gilbert? I have kids and I don’t wanna deal with HOA.

Peoria isn't rural and I think you'll be able to find things to do. However the East Valley just has more things going on in general. Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert... It really all depends on your budget as well.

Although it's sunny most of the time here, we do have some cloudy days. I usually do my trips on Saturdays, and by some coincidence, it just happened to be cloudy for 2 or 3 Saturdays in a row! I was a bit annoyed that I was showing off the "valley of the sun" with little sun for those videos! lol

Thank you for your answer,and thank you for your videos very first hand videos.I visited Scottsdale last summer,thinking in moving to AZ. I work in landscaping clean ups,have all the tools and a dump truck,so I'm wondering if there is enough work there to pay the bills. Keep the good work.

There’s definitely lots of work to be had. And there’s so much growth so there’s enough to go around. I don’t know for certain since that’s not my area of expertise, so I don’t know how well it pays the bills. However it’s such a big place that I think there’s money to be made in that area.

thanks ill check for ur vids on peoria and glendale.ill have to research mobile home parks and rv parks for camping hookup. thnk better to take my time before i buy a house. start cheap and get to knw the area first. cheap beers and cheap tacos. hope there are at least 10 good women there

We are stuck between moving to Peoria and Surprise. But I’m a concerned about crime. Are there certain areas you know of to avoid? Or are they relatively safe areas? Originally we were going to pick Gilbert but some say it’s fine and others say it’s awful!

Surprise usually gets good safety ratings so I wouldn’t worry too much about that area. Peoria isn’t known for high crime either as far as I’m aware of. Don’t know if there are any bad spots to avoid. Gilbert gets great marks for safety on many lists. It has had petty crimes going on here and there but you will find that everywhere you go. Gilbert has been known as one of the safest places to live.

I have some family members that live there and I was hoping to move to Peoria to do college there after my graduation year of 2020... I’ll be done with high school like after May of 2020 idk what day in May but Is it possible to drive down to Arizona if I moved there?

Assuming you are in the U.S, you can drive to Arizona from anywhere except Hawaii.

hi az dreamz thinkn of moving to az. 48m retired single. where do u recommend between peoria, mesa, prescott, and glendale. i like hiking fitness gyms single mingling, concerts, free beer, hate smoking cigs, not uptight women, and running. thanks also food no big deal im flexible w burritos from taco stand so im good.

Out of the places you mentioned, I’d say north Peoria (for recreation and outdoor activities) or Glendale (sports, concerts, etc.) I think you’ll find more singles in Glendale as well. I would recommend a zip code search there however as there are pockets of crime and not so great areas. That would be a good thing to do no matter where you go really.
