I must say, hillside neighborhoods in LA seem to be designed by city planners who are fans of M.C. Escher! and are absolutely nuts. Anyone expecting a quick response from emergency services should think again. That slope looks to be 30-45 degrees and any equipment rolling over on it would be instant disaster for anyone downhill. Great work, these are the types of jobs which separate the pros from the amateurs.

Good eye! That slope felt like 45 degrees! You couldn't even walk without slipping on every step it was crazy. No pathway, no railing, soft dirt.

@@PepesTowingService It was easy to eyeball the slope grade because you show at 1:37 the exterior stairs of the neighbor's house to compare to. Awesome work! This recovery gets my vote as the most technical one I've seen you tackle. Every aspect was fighting you: site access and staging; elevation differential and angles of attack; lack of recovery points and weight distribution; and the lack of soil stability/compaction. Although not as "eye catching" as a fully loaded concrete truck through a garage, it's a master class for us fans! It shows off your expertise and tenacity! Also, that crew was on-it! Sucks that this happened on their project. But they seemed to anticipate a lot of what you needed and pitch in with good ideas and considerations. Unlike those recent telehandler crews that were huddled up and filming on their phones.

Tough Tough job!! Great to see you guys brain storm the process of recovery on the fly! Yes it was all a cluster to get to the site but all and all, a great job!! Kudos to one and all!!

NEVER QUIT!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!! You and Alex did an AMAZING job on this one! Go easy one step at a time and you'll get it. I agree, without Big Flipper this recovery doesn't happen. Brut strength and 42 feet of boom were essential. Very nice job with the video and the wrap up at the end was cool too. Be safe out there!!!!
