I’m the driver here. I can answer any questions you guys have. No, I was not under the influence of anything nor speeding. The incident happened due to bad visibility and large amount of sand and gravel was one the road at the time of the incident causing me to lose both steering and braking. Just happy both me and the passenger got off with barely any injuries.

I'll never understand why there are no guard rails on such dangerous roads.
@anitaholmes8201 Жыл бұрын
The top three causes of motor vehicle accidents in California are speeding, distracted driving, and driving under the influence. Following the speed limit, paying attention to the road, and driving sober go a long way in making roads -- even windy mountainous roads -- less dangerous. Also, guardrails are installed based upon the road structure, road use, number and type of accidents, and all sorts of other details.
@aphael7949 Жыл бұрын

It would be helpful to have a portable winch to provide a long line with smaller cable to at least aid the person doing the climb. Some type of cart to roll down and back up at least part of the way to carry a man and gear would also be helpful. Somebody is going to get in trouble in the heat on the climb.

Question.
