I really dont understand per capita growth rate or what that tells you. 0.1 what a year? what does that mean.

It describes how much a single unit of population has grown over the year. So if you have population at the beginning of a year, you can calculate how much the population will grow by the end of that year.

If you have 1 unit of bunny this year, next year you end up with 1.1 units of bunnies ie an increase of 0.1 units of bunnies. (A natural no. might make more sense)

60 bunnies/year - 15 bunnies/year = 45 RABBITS/year. Kinda important when you include time (big C) into the problem. Things change over time ;)
