Perception Outlaw Modifications

Where did you get the eyelets to run the cables in the kayak

Love this setup, I’ve spent alot of time Tiffin up my outlaw with the steering handle on my seat, but I like the idea of the foot steering having the hands free. Going a switch mine over to something like this. A lot like that the wiring is under the haul. I do have a question tho, would I be able to use two more of the guitar jacks in front of the pedals and eliminate the cord exiting from the seat? That way there is no cord in the way on the deck area. Or would that effect the steering? Any advice is appropriated, thanks

Thanks Josh. I thought about using 2 jacks at side exit points for the pedals. I didn't go with that idea because I felt there would be too many curves in the tubing which would increase drag and friction with the dyneema. I have not had any issues with the cords with equipment or my feet.

Hey, iam considering one of these kayaks. Could you tell me the measurements of the transducer opening on the bottom? Want to make sure my garmin gt54 transducer will fit. Thanks

What size trolling motor would you recommend for this kayak? I've been looking at 55's, but many people are running 36's. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

A NV 36lb would be fine.

That is a hard question to answer because there are many factors involved. Water/weather conditions, payload, speed, etc.
