Oh completely agree. Which is why I moved the paddle keeper to the side. Did I say rod? Duh. Thx

I really like some of your modifications. I’ve not been able to travel this year but have used my yak (same model) more than I have used my other - heavier - yaks combined. The light weight is key for me. I actually paddled/fished on a local river for 8 hours and traveled almost 10 miles this past summer. I caught a bunch of fish from it. Love this kayak. Thanks for all the ideas. Ron

Thanks as always! that's a super long trip, nice job. Personally I love the light weight and then the stability of this little kayak. There aren't a lot of options in the market that have all the great characteristics of this yak.

@@mojobudgiekayakfishing Yes i also installed a Surf to Summit seat - which I purchased for my big yak - it fits in perfectly and is super comfortable. Without it I wouldn't be able to stay in there that long. Be safe
