Ninja Gaiden 2 was a legit 11/10. I don't know what they could have done to make it better. They took everything great about the first one and fixed all the issues. The controls were so much better, the additional weapons and kill moves were great. Which makes it such a shame that they took such a down turn with NG3.

I guess it's safe to say that platinum games is one of the best if not the best action game developers of all time. I feel they don't get the credit they deserve.

Golden Axe is probably one of the most legendary action games on Genesis, along with Streets of Rage (which managed to avoid too many comparisons with Final Fight).

It probably isn’t a 10/10 but Chaos Legion on PS2 was a really great action game and the gothic atmosphere is what really made the game what it was.

Just started the video and I don't know if its gonna make it, but I LOVED Matrix Path of Neo on the PS2. Not only was it really fun, smooth, and on point gameplay wise, its visuals pushed PS2 further than I thought it could be!!!

We defo need a side scrolling beat em ups ! Especially as we have seen resurgence recently with streets of rage 3, turtles, Scott pilgrim etc

Hi OJ, I'd personally love to see you do a Top 10 SRPG & CRPG (on consoles) list, highlighting the best ports/remakes/re-releases. You've helped me select so many great rpg's so far, but these would be great for myself and your ever-growing audience. Cheer geezer!

Dammit, you got my hope up for a millisecond with the Vanquish thumbnail. I thought we’d finally gotten the port until I saw the title.😂 Even though I played these games to death back then, I’d still like to have Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising on my Switch.

I’m a huge Bayo fan but I’ve put off playing Bayo 3 since release due to the poor reviews. Finally got around to playing it and while it’s fun, Bayo 2 is simply a better game

Great list, but I would at least switch Ninja Gaiden 2 with Astral chain. AS is in no way better than NG2, especially with all that boring detective sections. All the other games are legends were you start the game, and fun blows you away. AS got thick layer of padding holding it back from being one of the greats.
