Perfect CHICKEN MANGO and AVOCADO SALAD + Easy Dressing

This Chicken Mango Avocado Salad is loaded with juicy chicken, creamy avocado and that sweet pop of mango flavor takes this mango salad over the top. A Cheesecake Factory recipe (copycat).

Chicken Mango Avocado Salad Ingredients:
►1 lb chicken breasts (2 medium)
►1/2 tsp garlic salt or to taste
►1/8 tsp black pepper or to taste
►2 tsp olive oil
►6 cups romaine lettuce 1 head, rinsed, chopped and spun dry
►1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
►1/2 English cucumber sliced
►1 mango pitted, peeled and diced*
►1 avocado pitted, peeled and diced
►1/2 small purple onion thinly sliced
►1/4 cup cilantro chopped
►1/2 cup sliced almonds toasted, for topping
Honey Vinaigrette Dressing:
►1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
►3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
►2 tsp dijon mustard
►2 tsp honey
►1 garlic clove 1 tsp minced
►1 tsp sea salt
►1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste

Love the salad! My mom who immigrated to the States from Lebanon in the 1900’s made the almost identical salad. She added melon and orange segments but she never used fresh cilantro but she used fresh mint and parsley. The salad will always be enjoyed for its freshness! Love all your presentations!!! It is totally delish! I made it today and it was fabulous. Enjoy when make it. I believe the dressing is going to be my new go to dressing. I have never liked vinaigrettes, but this one I did enjoy. The other vinaigrette I substituted the balsamic vinegar for pomegranate balsamic vinegar I quite enjoyed that one too.

What is the point of adding unhealthy things to a salad? I f you add cheese, bacon bit, croutons, and similar items the salad really isn't a healthy side dish anymore. Many people add these things and wondering why they are gaining weight while eating salads.

@@Michelle-pn9xt there are two reasons to eat a salad: for health, or for taste. Occasionally, you can do both; often, something you add will improve the taste, but affect its healthiness. I prefer to eat a salad for taste, so I have no qualms experimenting with toppings, different cheeses and dressings/vinaigrettes. Hell, you only live once, right?😁

Natasha your salad & video is AWESOME! p.s. I checked out the mango cutter and $15.00 is way too expensive. There are too many things we need for our kitchens & cooking and I read alot of reviews about it and the biggest complaint was it is only good for small mangos and then some people said it wasn't sharp enough and other negative reviews..... The mfg. needs to 'make it perfect' and make sure it is not sold over-priced!

To this day, I am not certain why people do not slice their avocados in quarters instead of halves. It is SO much easier to remove the pit without using a sharp knife to hatchet through the pit, twist, and remove. It reminds me of the "new method" of cutting a bell peppers (take off the top and bottom, make a slice through one side, then remove the veins and core by running a knife on the elongated remaining piece); or creating a heart-shape with our hands. The method and tools have been available for centuries; however, we are so used to "tradition" is negates trying new methods of cooking.

Salad is best food ever...colorful...take hunger a way when it is big strong enough. I add often salads cheese feta,mozzarella,cottage cheese :) yogurt as dressing. Heavenly salad could eat daily with seedbread and cold drink, water
