New they should build a regular Thrill DryPark. A ferris wheel, a couple of flats, a 1 or 2 coasters. Then it'd be quite the destination on it's own.

We were going to go on this cruise this year until we read about the massive makeover and put it off till next year and go on Oasis from NJ up Florida/Bahamas. After seeing this I'm glad we waited. Our little guy is going to love all of this. Can't wait to try Oasis and Cococay.

Wow! We went to Coco Kay back in about 2003 I think it was on Majesty of the Seas, the ship was docked out at sea, we got the tender in and the weather turned back, strong winds and wave created sea swirls which meant it was too dangerous to get the tender back to ship. So we were stranded on the Island all night! Back then it has a beach hut bar, beach beds, a couple of huts to store things and that was it! It was cold at night and RCI refunded the whole cost of our cruise, gave us another 4 day one as well and we kept the fleece that they managed to get off the boat in the middle of the night to keep us warm! It was freezing and we just had T Shirts and shorts on! An amazing experience! Would love to visit again!!

Just got off the harmony of the seas and I had a blast at coco cay!!! Sadly daredevils peak had a three hour wait and I didn’t do it but I did all of the other slides!!

It was really fun. We went for opening weekend. We rented a cabana for the day and I highly recommend it. They have water food and drinks for you. It has room for six people and the cabana includes the tickets to thrill water park. We went on all the fun rides and once we were done we explored the rest of the island. There was a beautiful reef that went out maybe a half mile. So beautiful and a fun little adventure.

@@travelattack4481 , I was wrong actually what we are getting is a bungalow and its $195 for the day ( this is per bungalow not per person) and you get transportation to and from the bungalow. Hope that helps.

When we went in April the water park wasn't open but the pool was open to everyone and it was great. Now that the water park is open, are you still able to use the pool if you don't buy the Thrill Waterpark excursion?

Yes, Oasis Lagoon pool is open to all guests and requires no additional cost.

Sadly, my father-in-law had a heart attack at 1am, 9 hours before getting on the Symphony and we've been at Mercy hospital in Miami since. So no swim up bar for me. 😔 We consider ourselves lucky though, if it happened in open water or in Mexico he would have died.
