I love my kombucha, I make 3 different kinds now. One with black tea and raw cane sugar, one with green tea and honey, the last one with coffee grounds and raw cane sugar. Love them all. I have a jar for each kind that I put my mini scooby into. They form together to make a scooby.

Good morning Blake. Was curious if in the video playlist of kombucha if you talk about the benefits of kombucha and fermented foods? I hear it’s good for your health, but why? Will be researching this myself. A friend of mine used homemade kombucha as well as clean whole organic foods to help her grandson heal during cancer treatments. What she was doing greatly improved his healing, and the doctors told her so.....

I haven't talked too much about the benefits... at least not focused on it with any authority. There are a lot of claims that I cannot verify. Basically in our gut there is always bacteria. Some good guys and some bad. The key is to keep the good guys in proper balance to the bad. Fermented foods are loaded with the good guys. How's that for a very non-scientific explanation? LOL

Sounds good in a non scientific way. I hear that a lot of our health depends on our gut health. I did just buy a couple synergy kombuchas to try. One is guava and the other strawberry. Probably try them tomorrow. Thank you!

It's all about the lactobacillus colonies. Antibiotic means kill life. Probiotic means create life. Therefor, when we eat 'fermented beverage and food' it creates good bacteria and yeasts colonies within the gut. (Also known as synbiotics.)

I found gas escapes through the top of canning jars. I recycle tea jars but I will check out your bottles. Enjoyed your vlogs

I appreciate reviews of products from someone I trust, so thank you! The only thing you didn’t talk about was cleaning...it’s a factor I always consider because I it’s a chore I dislike so much, lol...So if you have a good bottle brush, you could review that for us , too!

Will the GT’S/Kevita caps fit on those bottles? The lids on the amazon bottles have a lot of criticisms. BTW, you can get replacement lids for the GTS bottles for about $12/100

Hello there. I know your original comment is old now, but do you have a link or specific brand name for those lids on Amazon? Thanks

Hi Daddy. Love your booch video's.. I'm wondering if you feel like experimenting and changing one of your black kombucha's into a Jun kombucha?? Made with green tea & honey..🤩🤩 When I received my black tea scoby many years ago, I immediately changed it over to Jun kombucha. Not necessary to wean it over, the scoby will take to the new food immediately.. it is so light and delicious.. Three quarters of a cup of honey is equal to 1 cup of sugar . And the same amount of tea bags you usually use

Thanks for the playlist. I swear, I thought that kambucha was something like Korean kimchi. 😅 It's sound very same for me) Or that it is made from a pumpkin, because it is orange. Now everything is clear)

People, if someone can edit the English subtitles in the DaddyKirbs videos, it would be very helpful.

I made some corrections to the English. See if that helps. Thank you :)

I don’t know, but metal caps on beer don’t effect anything, so I think it’s probably fine...

Seems a lot of people are having trouble uploading their videos. Just watched The Big Family Homestead live chat. Brad and many others had the same problem.

I'm hearing impaired but I gave up on subtitles as they rarely get it right. I wonder who on youtube hired these people who transcribed them
@daddykirbs5 жыл бұрын
The subtitles are done by machine intelligence at first. Yes, sometimes they are really bad. This morning I did some editing to the subtitles to make them a little better. I didn't have time to completely refine them. I hope it works out better for you.
