@@jake6681 My favorite look I've ever done, I didn't have any eyeliner! Just smoked some purple on my outer lashline and under. A lipliner at that. Didn't even use shadows omg come to think of it omg. It's doable!

I’ve met Violet a couple of times due to our careers (celebrity fashion photographer.) Always remember her as a cool person. One time at a Chromat fashion show during NYFW we took the elevator up together to the show and it was totally overbooked and crazy. Like, my assigned seat was taken. Both of ours it seems because she actually STOOD in the back with me. In full drag. She was alone, no entourage. I said to her, “you’re Violet Chachki, why are you standing?? Hold on, let me get someone.” She was SO humble and didn’t want me to make a fuss, but I grabbed one of the producers of the show and told them to get her seat. Then she was whisked away to the front row. She seemed surprised this happened but in true Violet energy, she also KNEW that is was supposed to happen and graciously took a seat beside EJ Johnson. Memories. lol. Love her.

But all you have to do is insert yourself in the world and you'll see it's no big deal because we're just people. I'm a queen and hell, I've had rooms and lines split down the middle so I can walk through everyone. Everyone fawns over you, it's just... A different culture. I wish i could introduce you to a friend of mine, a Japanese drag artist called Peter ピーター or his birth name Shinnosuke Ikehata. He is an absolute legend in Japan. His father was the living national treasure of a dance art form called Jiutamai and his mother was an actual Geisha.
