What separates the best of the best and makes for elite teams? The famed Blue Angels regularly take to the skies for maneuvers that bring their jets within mere feet of each other. They have a mindset, culture and processes that make high performance not only possible but predictable, repeatable, and transferable to any team that aspires to greatness. The foundation of elite performance is the mindset that enables a belief and perspective that is different. A belief system that is rooted in gratitude and appreciation for self and others while realizing a purpose greater than self. We call this the "Glad to Be Here" mindset. John is a former lead solo pilot of the Blue Angels and a top 10 in demand keynote speaker with expertise in the power of gratitude and building high performance teams.
With the Blues, John consistently performed in an extreme, high-stakes environment, flying at speeds of more than 500 miles per hour in formations as close as 18 inches apart. To survive, he relied on the Blues’ culture of high trust and leadership.
John employs those intense flight realities as a metaphor to motivate teams to reach their highest potential and empower organizations to sustain excellence under dynamic change on stages around the world.
