Just hit 170k on it and I love it, I’ve got lowering springs, ST stocks, skunk2 Honda muffler and resonator delete, honeycomb grille, rokblokz mud flaps, RS intake, clear headlights, sequential mirror lights, other than that nothing else. I drive probably 300 miles a week. Just do your oil changes regularly.

Remove the felt wheel well liner and coat it w flex spray or bed liner. Trust me will save you time w bondoing the rust on your rear quarter pannels. They carry salt.

How did you get the 2.3 throttle to fit? I was doing some research and some say it fits fine but on ebay the vehicle system says it doesn’t fit the 14’ focus se 🙏

So sites arnt going to say it fits because it's not for the car, there just making sure you get the right part for the right car. It fits as long as you get longer bolts, just go to your local hardware store and pick some up. If you have anymore questions just ask.

What your looking for is a aftermarket air filter, a cold air intake is the whole system. My suggestion if your going with a budget get the green works air filter, and the RS air filter box. Or just the filter if that's all you want.

How does the throttle body work? As in, what’s the real purpose behind it?

So, a throttle body is between the intake manifold and the filter. The purpose of a throttle body is that it controls how much air is going into the engine. There's a flap inside that goes almost vertical to horizontal, allowing more air into the engine, depending on how far your foot is in the gas. Thus a larger throttle body menas more air witch equals for power.

@the.elitemaster3208 yes it is, bolts right up except you need longer bolts. Other then that it's a really easy mod.

From my experience, absolutely. Alot less body role, and feels so much better around corners. And isn't all that hard to install.

How hard was the header and thermostat install? I’m in the process of trying to find a header (no luck lol) and I have a thermostat I’ve been waiting to install!

So the thermostat is relatively easy to install I would say 2 out of 5, the header is a little harder because you have to get under the car and also remove the rear and passenger motor mounts and slide the engine forward. So I would say a 3.5 out of 5.

Ya so Tom from focus power sells two kinds of kits, a DIY turbo kit, wich comes with all the tubing and turbo manifold for 1500$ or he sells the full kit that comes with everything for 5000$ If you have anymore questions just ask

i have a 2013 ford focus se and i was looking for led headlights however i would need a conversion kit. did you also have this issue or do the headlights fix this issue. and automatic to manual transmission swap any suggestions on where to get stuff for that?

So my whole headlight assembly fixed the issue it already has the conversion for the led drl, and you should be able to put led high and lows in it, but not quite sure on the turn signals. Did you notice a difference with the 180 degree temp sensor? Also, how did you get the ram air piece to fit?

Its not a temp sensor its a thermostat, I did notice an overall difference, just because it wasn't running so hot, the extra 12-15 degrees less, than it was makes a big difference with more mods you throw at it. And the ram air intake goes right on with no problem, other than taking a plastic snorkel off and a plastic ducting piece off as well.

Yes very easy, the only thing might be putting the intake hose on, but just use a little grease or oil. And also you do need longer bolts

If its a automatic the first thing I would do would be a tune, it helps with the shifts and gets rid of any shudder. The second best thing to do is intake and exhaust, they add some a good amount of power and gives some injoyable sounds. When it comes to aeasthics that's all you, some good sites are rebel devil customs and eBay lol. If you have any questions just ask.

It depends what do you want to do? If it's boost it can handle 12psi np, a reliable hp range would be around 275 with no problems.

There are plenty of people who have used the throttle body from the ford mustang ecoboost model on this car. It is a direct bolt on and works just fine.

I’m looking at an EcoBoost throttlebody for my ‘15 SE, so long as you know what to get it bolts up just the same. The EcoBoost mustang engine is a 4cyl same as us, only difference is I’m going for the 2.0 EcoBoost TB

Off road only car, right? Otherwise you wouldn't post on KZbin the evidence of a violation of defeating the Federal emissions controls by removing the catalytic converter on a Pollution Controlled Motor Vehicle for use on public roads, right? That being said, you needed the new tune for the engine without the converter because the back-pressure the engine was programmed to run with is no longer there without the cat and would not run correctly on the factory tune. Also, the computer wouldn't know what to do with the wild readings from the O2 sensors without the cat. Did the tune do anything for fuel mileage or power output? Do you have any plans for a performance cam? Head porting? The "cold air intake" is not. The filter that's in place is less restrictive and will increase air flow, but the duct that drew fresh air from in front of the radiator is defeated and the air filter draws hotter under hood air. You would be better off putting the factory intake back in and use the K&N filter. That way you would have more air flow and cooler, fresh air. I like the customizations you did to it. Looks nice.

Yes off road car lol, that's why it has the mud flaps. And yes the tune did a ton, not just making it all run properly, and it did add a significant amount of power, and gas mileage over all. As long as you go with Tom from Focus Power.. And cams don't do anything for theis cars, it's all sound, and I do plan on porting the heads. As for the intake I have two ram air intakes that blow cold air right to the filter, and I would say k&n did a great job of sealing off the engine bay to the filter.
