Taemin's style of singing, especially in SHINee songs, is a lot like Jonghyun. And as you will discover with their songs, such as "Why So Serious?," Taemin fills in for Jonghyun whenever Jonghyun was unable to participate in a performance. And even today, Taemin often takes over the high notes and the parts that I think would probably have been Jonghyun's parts in their new songs, as you will hear with "Countless," etc. Jonghyun was the one that really took Taemin under his wing and helped him to become the singer that he is today. So, many think that Taemin's voice emulates Jonghyun because he is the one that taught Taemin to sing. Jonghyun always has been Taemin's biggest supporter and the one that rooted for him the hardest and loudest out of anyone. So, although you think you are hearing Taemin's voice and not hearing Jonghyun, I think really what you are hearing is both of their voices, you are just having a hard time distinguishing between the two because in songs like "Dynamite" their voices sound similar in some parts of the song. And that is why Minho was literally voted best abs in Asia by a U.S. magazine. I can't remember which magazine it was, but he really won a real award for his abs. However, the thing about Minho is, although he does have to work to maintain his abs, it's not that hard for him because he is an athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes working out. But he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc, so really his body is the product of all the sports he enjoys playing as well. Minho's father is a professional minor league soccer coach for a living, so Minho got his love of soccer and sports from his dad. And not only does Minho enjoy playing sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" -- his intense passion for sports and his need to always win makes it almost impossible to beat him in any competition. His drive to be the best is so well known in the industry that everyone wants him on their team. But if you saw them all without their shirts on you would discover they all have amazing bodies, even Onew, who is the "old man" of the group and never shows off his body because he doesn't want to have to put any extra effort into it. But I guarantee that they all have amazing physiques. You probably will never see Onew without his shirt on, he is the only member who has never done anything on camera that would require him to take his shirt off or to show off his abs. However, the members have said that Onew has "monster abs" which means he is really ripped just like the rest of the members, but he is too modest to ever show his body off in public. Even when he has been swimming on TV programs, he wears a shirt. However, there is a clip of Jonghyun doing pull ups in the gym without his shirt on that would blow you away if you saw it. (Just wait until you see Jonghyun perform "Moon" in concert. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pavTlHh4hpKdask) When you think about it, they all have to be that fit in order to be able to do all that they do -- to be able to sing and sound flawless while performing the choreography that they do, and to do it for hours straight, makes it so they are required to stay in shape. SHINee are known for the fact that they always sing live so they have to be extremely fit in order to sing live and dance the way they do without showing any flaws. If you watch a whole concert you will soon see that they can dance this intensely for 5 or 6 songs in a row and never sound out of tune, and then hold a conversation with the audience imminently after and they still won't sound out of breath. This was the only performance where Minho took his shirt all the way off. He was supposed to just rip it down the middle, but in this performance he said he got excited and took it all the way off. If you see any of the other performances of "Dynamite" in concert, you will see that he doesn't actually take it off.

Honestly, there is a reason Shinee's MV views aren't as high as other group's, and it's because Shawols prefer the live performances usually. XD Shinee really shine in their lives way more than any recording, imo. Especially their own concerts. They are 200% there all the time. And this isn't even their best live performance by far (in terms of performance... the abs were top notch though xD). So as a performer, I do recommend watching many Shinee live performances, because they are STELLAR. Some recommendations are Evil from Shinee World 3, Sherlock and Stranger from Shinee World 4, literally the first 15 minutes of Shinee World 5 (minus the opening vcr), because I still can't believe they did like 4 heavy choreo songs in a row like THAT, literally any Everybody performance and any Picasso performance. Just... gold. Pure gold. Also no it's not you. Dynamite is very weirdly mixed, even in the studio version, which is why it's not one of my faves at all.
