That’s honestly pretty freaking strange to randomly have his car parked on the side of the the road while he “works out”. Quite odd if you ask me

Could be a little tweaked out, not uncommon in our part of the world

I don't think it's strange. He probably felt sleepy and decided to exercise so not to fall asleep. I have done it too on long night roads. Better be strange than dead.

Had a driver yell at me for doing a welfare check. "IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WHY DIDNT YOU STOP ME, BLAH BLAH BLAH" Well, this driver I was following when I was off duty coming home from work, was all over the road, speeding up, slowing down, etc. So, I passed him. Looked in my rearview mirror, was still doing the same thing. We both come to a 4-way stop, so I got out and asked him if he was ok and if he needed anything. That's when he began to yell at me as stated above. I am not one to hem drivers up for dumb stuff or make a fuss, if it can be handled without making a scene or ruing someone's day, i will do it in a heartbeat. that is why I didn't call it in. (side note, he had his cell phone in his hand texting when I walked up) "You know what sir; you have a good day and have a merry xmas" was my response. (still yelling at me) as I walk back to my car. lol Tip: don't shut your door so hard when exiting your vehicle, it's like ringing a doorbell. it lets them know you're out of your car when you do that. love your videos and stay safe.

The car was parked with two wheels over the fog line.not off the road.. hazardous situation. Work out all you want but park off the road. Just asking to get hit parking there. Move over.

Always keep ur weapon side away from the subject. Practice officer safety at all times no matter what the situation is. This person could have just committed the worst crime possible. There could also be more than one person at that scene. You need to scan with your light around the area. Don’t ever let anyone fast talk you or try to gain control of your inquiry into what they are doing. Welfare checks can be the most dangerous forms of contact.

@@commanderhall848 as a community of security professionals it’s our duty to always critique officer safety. Even as a police officer me and my partners would park somewhere later after a call or incident and critique what we did and how we could have done it safer. This keeps us frosty and sharp and stopping complacency from creeping into your work environment. We have to stick to together and have each others back.
