Keep making these the way you do. I find them soothing, plus I can learn a little. When you ramble a little it seems like you keep remembering thoughts you don't want to leave out. Combine that with the tidbits about yourself that pop up, and it becomes endearing because I can tell you are only being yourself with honesty.

I think everything you said is legit. I personally like Oud Noir better and I recently got my first bottle, so I LOVE that you're covering it! I wore Oud Noir to visit a friend last week who owns Oud Wood, and she immediately said "Oh, you're wearing Oud Wood?" I say "no, I'm wearing MY 'Oud Wood,'" I know they're NOT the same, and I wasn't looking for an Oud Wood replacement, but Oud Noir does more of what I wish Oud Wood does, starting with being able to smell it and enjoy it as I wear it. It's like my personal Oud Wood Plus! Oud Wood is phenomenal, but it's very subtle and then it disappears. Couple that with the expense, I can't justify getting it for myself no matter how nice it is. Thanks!!

Babbling is great! No worries! Versace Oud Noir is fairly bright and aggressive (and mineral/metallic) upon first spray. I’m ok with it, my wife does not like it. But the longer it stays on skin the better it gets. I enjoy the journey and consider it a very sophisticated, elegant wear on the whole. Once those top notes recede my wife likes it, and we both love the dry down. It’s a fantastic “dress to impress” choice. Oud Wood is a classic, but I can rarely smell it. Way too light for me (and on me) and it doesn’t pack that “wow factor” that so many others do at this price point. Which is fine, because the Oud Noir does the trick, especially at less than half the price per 100ml.

Thanks for the video, the rambling is the best part. Never tried Versace oud noir, although heard much about it. Fragrance influencers always call it a good beginner oud. went with Oud malaki instead as beginner oud, but don't wear it a lot., it has kind of an old man smell to it. Will need to smell tom ford oud wood again in the shop, I recall it as being funky, so Im surprised you call it airy and light. but its been a long time ago smelling it. Also very curious to smell your fragrances here in europe the netherlands. Here we have skins cosmetics and the bijenkorf which sell niche perfumes. hopefully some day your perfumes get sold there too. and yes do your own take on as many good perfumes are you can.
