Drill some small drain holes upward from the bottom of the lights, keep a few toothpicks in the glove box to clean them when they clog up. Eyes do actually have a frame rate and it's down to the reaction time of the light cones in your eye, when you are fatigued or stressed they generally react more slowly. Erik's puttying method is the classic, at least that's the way my dad taught me. All the best guys.

In Switzerland we use a brush sander a lot, to get the appearance of old wood! Depending on client we stain it to look like old wood, recuperated from old (100 year buildings) which is 4 more expensive but get an immediate look of old wood. Even the local sawmill has this tool and you can order wood brused and then staining it or let nature and sunlight do the work! Love your channel!

I helped a friend install nickel gap inside his barndominium and it was giving us a fit trying to keep the lines level and on plain with the other wall. Then we noticed the boards were labeled with letters, one stack M and the other stack L. Realized the M stack was a fraction wider than the L stack. As long as we didn't mix the letters, the gap stayed consistent and level. You all are amazing! Look forward to the next video every week.

Use a wood conditioner first when staining pines/softwoods especially your milled types of boards to make the grain pop where it’s going to. Then you can sand, reapply it, and wipe off the excess after 10-20 minutes and then apply your finish to the wood.

I built my previous house and hired 2 brothers install the cabinets and put #2 pine T&G on the high ceilings. Every board had a stamp mark. These guys thought it would be fine and hung the boards with the stamp marks out on half of them. They set a rolling scaffold up and I made them sand off every stamp. It turned out really nice. I later found out the younger wild hippy brother had an affair with the clean cut brothers wife and they ran off together as an aside. lol

Nothing makes me more irate than people that do dumb shit like that. Pay attention to what is going on for Christ sake. There's a nice log home near me and the gable end has an lvl for the outside rim board. And of course it has Roseburg lumber and all the other stuff written in black paint. They just stained right over it. Drives me crazy. Million dollar home that looks really good with nice mountain views and nice land and you get those kind of "details" with the framing/trim. At least sand it. Nope stain will hide it

For the shiplap in the corners, could you cut each board so that half of each board is on one side of the corner and half is on the other? Might mean an extra joint on the walls somewhere, but each board would be the same size on each wall.

As someone that did plumbing for a majority of their trades career I can say that they make smaller nail plates that could have been used there.. I know it would have been something that could have been changed out but as someone that understands the time crunch I can see why you didn’t opt for that route.. For something such as a 3/4” line there really was no need for something that could be used for an 1-1/4” pipe in that situation.. Just my .02 on that. Hey guys, on the next job you say your going to rent forms and pour concrete walls. Being a retired Union Carpenter who dis mainly concrete forming and working with concrete, be sure to not take lightly how much skill is involved in vibrating forms correctly. Know the slump, and aggregate size, and depending on how tall your walls are, know how long to leave the stinger in mud. I've formed many 30ft high walls up to 3 ft thick on commercial jobs and the vibrators are rum by Union Laborers who do nothing but vibrate concrete walls, and they still have bad days where they leave pockets. Those are mainly around big conduit sleeves, and block outs. Anyway, just reed up on how to do a good vibration based on the science of your concrete with retarder and additives, etc, and the size of your aggregate.
