I remember when the Perkins crew first built this house, watching each episode that was filmed with eager anticipation of the next one. As I watch this time-lapse video, it brings back fond memories of a professional job completed by an endearing workforce. Excellent job guys! 👍

Love all the attention to detail, your group has mastered the art of building great homes, I can see the love you put in your work. When you use tool men used when there was no power tool, like the chisel and the planer, it reminds me of my father 😢, he did a lot of what you guys do in your videos, anyways, keep doing what you do and you’ll never be bored. ❤God bless.

I bet family picnics are fun at Jaime's house. Sure, they know who's calling who when it's just them, but when someone else is calling their name? Chaos. There must be nicknames.

Since it is a completely differend building system from the ones we use here in Italy, i would ask how do you provide thermal energy (hot water and heating system) - gas or heat pump - and where do you pass with the pipes since you glue the parquet directly on the timber floor... thanks!

Tagged along for the whole build, awesome to see it in condensed form again! Was thinking: all this house would need to be a full time residential home is a set of stairs to go downstairs (and maybe a garage/shed/woodshop of sorts somewhere on the proerty). Couldn't quite remember why Jaime didn't put those stairs into the design, but wasn't it because it is a rental home?

What type of vertical B&B siding did you use on this house? Was it not about 18" - 24" wide? Was it an LP Smart siding, or a GP product, and pre-finished or primed? Also, were the battens a part of the mfg's product line?
