Fantastic review. I have a Ford Explorer Sport eco boost and have enjoyed it. I’m pretty much sold on Aviator with your review but I cannot even find one to test drive in Spokane Wa. Does the Aviator have: 1) adaptive cruise control? Meaning car (cruise control )speeds up and slows down based upon the car in front of you. Fantastic feature on the Ford and I use this every day. 2) less cabin noise than explorer? 3 smoother or rougher ride due to the 22" rims? 4)same acceleration as explorer eco boost? Again really great video, made wonderful and thorough points. Are you still lovin’ your?

I got to test this model and I found the paint to be poorly done. Upon closer inspection you’ll see dust and dirt particles trapped in the paint. Those are weak spots in the paint that will peel off prematurely and cause corrosion. If they can’t do the paint right, who knows what other underlying problems are inside. Such poor quality for a car that can cost almost $100k.

The paint on my Aviator is flawless, better than the paint on my X7. I also checked the paint on 5 other Aviators on the lot and the paint on those were flawless also.
