Really glad to hear some respect for John Stannard at the beginning! Plugging in modern cams is a lot different than fiddling with hexes, stoppers and the occasional pin!

We have some more episodes planned where we delve into gunks/climbing history. So many interesting stories to tell

This channel is amazing! Could you add bookmarks when you upload a new video? Would be great to quickly flip to the route I'm interested in.

The rock where that last crux nut is, well, actually not good. Ask me how I know
@headpointhandbook Жыл бұрын
I slightly broke the rock there with that nut placement also. Did you blow the piece?

@@headpointhandbook broke, fell, had next piece extended and decked in the talus, broke my heel. Grazed one of the sharp talus up my back. Was lucky. That s$&@ is R
@headpointhandbook Жыл бұрын
Yikes! Glad you made it out okay, hopefully no surgery on the heel or anything. Gunks G aka R everywhere else lol

@@chrispclimbsand somehow you hiked out and we all had a glass of wine at eric weigeshoff's house!? or that's how I remember it. hope your foot is back to 100% & you're doin well 😊

@@LisaMichele good memory. I forgot you were there! I was in shock. Took awhile for climbing shoes not to hurt. I’m up a half size now. And ice climbing boots are a no go for life ☹️

So are we ok with documenting lost city now? Because it seems like a little weird to call it an “adventure crag” with content like this.
@headpointhandbook Жыл бұрын
If you don’t like this, you’re really going to hate the step by step lost city video guide book I’m dropping soon Nothing here you can’t already find online.
