You are a "true" racer Kev. You really know what you are doing. I also appreciate the fact that you can burn-out and stage without a handful of people telling a talented guy what to do.

Congratulations on the PB. Also; this is only the second video of yours I have seen. The first one was when you had the QA one double adjustable shocks, and was explaining them. My goodness! Congratulations on your weight loss and fitness journey. You have done an incredible job!

A day at the track racing with Dad, PB's across the board, and nothing hurt, can't ask for a better day than that! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the video Kevin. I learned a lot as usual. I like how you explain things in a way that I understand. The car is looking great and so are you. I have a friend that drag races and he weighs over 300 lbs. His daughter also races his car and she weighs a buck ten. Maybe she's a better driver but she always wins. Thank you for your time and I will be looking forward to following you.

You should consider a HANS device. 140 is the mail ! Just watched a vid from Nivlac57 ( iirc ) who crashed the Volvo at Sick Week. The HANS device likely saved the driver’s life.

Congratulations!! Personal bests are AWESOME! Question, car was launching to the left, and you added length to the Lh bars? I would have thought shortening them would have made it drive straighter, or more tmisconception. Please clarify my apparent misconsepion.

You put the Hughes back in. What happened to the Chance converter and the new stator?
@KevinWilsonSBC
@KevinWilsonSBC Жыл бұрын
New stator only made a 100 RPM difference. Chance didn't seem to know what to do with my setup so I yanked it and put back in the hughes converter. It runs circles around the Chance converter in my car and only has about 600 rpm drop on the shift. I have never had such issues getting a converter setup so I learned I very expensive lesson for sure. Ugh. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

I'm surprised you didn't mention any front strut adjustments, those are as important as the rears. What is your outbound travel time on them? They should be controlling the front lift much better for sure. Also, what are your wheelspeed numbers at .1 .25 & 1 sec increments? Do you have a flowmeter sensor on the fuel? Congrats on the PB, always a good day with those & everything comes back to the barn in one piece! 😅

Good morning, Austin!! The front struts are pretty much locked down at this point to make the front as heavy as possible. I currently do not have a driveshaft sensor, but that is in the works. No flowmetter sensor on the fuel either for now. Thanks!! Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!
@AustinBoil
@AustinBoil Жыл бұрын
@@KevinWilsonSBC Takes time & $ to get all the sensors but it opens up a whole new world for analyzing what's really going on that you can never get from videos etc. When you get a driveshaft sensor, make sure it's at least 8 magnets, the more the better if you implement some form of traction control at some point. What's your chassis scaling info? If you posted it earlier I apologize. Have a great day.
