I had a dream I was crawling threw muddy trenches. This was also the first time I heard a sample of amazing grace. I still haven't found the version I heard in the dream, but when I googled amazing grace and I read the lyrics, something changed in me. A couple of years later I finally got it. My young men are older & discovering their lives. I'm moving out of the home I lived in for 23 years. Grew up in a toxic family. Thank u thank u thank u. We can not change anyone. We can choose to stay for a season or lifetime or move on. As a child and young person I loved meeting people and I love hard. I'm in my early 40ties and I have been isolating for the past year. I have encouraged distance between myself and every unworthy disrespectful meaningless encounter. I treasure truth and honesty and peace. I am comfortable in saying No thank you. I enjoy my own company and good cup of tea. I prefer nature and music that is not suggestive. I am a work in progress. And your talks and guidance and truth and honesty and realness is a breath of fresh air. No one wants to have the difficult conversations.
