Wow two great lines stuck out, "think science, speak client" ( like Nick tuminello's line) and the one about us cratering to people who enjoy fitness which is about 10% or the population, which brings up how the fit industry fails at attracting the people who need it. Begs the question, how do we reach more people, with RELIABLE info, and help integrate fitness and better nutrition into their lives, and not only speak to the minority who have already bought in.

Stephen Ellis we spoke about this briefly when we were with Michael. The main strategy I think is to collaborate a lot more with the good people. Evidence based people need to learn how to market and social media better too. If they do that they will know how to reach more people and to make the content not to science heavy

Cool video! Was funny when you went into the gym and the camera was showing your reflection in the mirror - it confused me a bit haha. Not sure I agree with strengthening before releasing restricted muscles though. Otherwise you're effectively "gluing" dysfunctions into place.

Hi Michael, great video. Have you come across Functional Range Conditioning? I see a lot of parallels with the FRC system and your approach.

Hey @uruprince, I’ve not the course itself. It’s on the list! I’ve heard good things from people I know though. Have you done it? What has been the effect on your clients?

Hey Michael, thanks for the reply. I have and from my experience it covers how to improve ROM permanently through active strengthening of end ranges in a systemised, safe and progressive way. On the other hand, mobility training is by far the most boring and tedious modality I can think of, requiring high frequency and effort to elicit virtually invisible changes. I use PAILs/RAILs with clients that require improvements in ROM, though the buy-in takes a bit of time. CARs are a part of almost every warm-up. If you'd like any more info, just let me know.

I would like to have an assessment done for myself like you have done here, who would I go to for this? A personal trainer, physio? I live in the US. What would I ask them to perform to receive this type of assessment? Thank you for sharing this video.

Leann Sharpe I can safely say a Personal Trainer wouldn't be able to. Not sure about a Physio but they would be more likely to

Hey Leann, Thanks for watching and commenting! We have integrated a lot of different types of assessments, from a lot of different sources, into our 'investigations' which we utilise in our personal training service. We are personal trainers, however a lot of these assessments are not taught in traditional personal training certifications. However, from a perspective of finding an approach that is client-centred (with regards to goals, expectations, beliefs, communication style, structure, anatomy, ability), I would highly recommend looking out for someone who has achieved the Resistance Training Specialist (mastery level): roster here: www.resistancetrainingspecialist.com/roster.html
