The tail tack extension plate would also space the R80 out a little on the 690 - it does on mine. 👍 Thanks for making great products 🙌 Cheers from Michigan in the USA.

I have a Husky 701 with the Perun tailrack and extension plate. I assume extension plate gives similar results. I’m contemplating Mosko Reckless 80 and I also have Wings exhaust.

Due to the shape of the fuel tank, positioning of the silencer and overall shape of the 701 tail, Extension plate greatly improves the fit of R80 bags on 701. That combo is great (Perun moto Luggage rack + Extension plate + R80). Consider getting the Heel guards too, they provide perfect lower tie down points.

@@Perunmoto Yes, I will get the heel guards if I go reckless (still debating as I have the Mosko backcountry 35s for my GS, ... not sure whether to put a rack on the 710, or really try to keep it light weight and buy the Reckless 80.

@@brentbat Depends on how and where you will ride. Backcountry are easier to pack and you already have them. They do require the pannier racks. IMO, weight of the pannier racks is not that much of an issue. But R80 sits much closer to the bike, so weight is much more centralized and you can feel that when you push the limits off road. Also, R80 distributes the load over large portion of the seat and rear rack, while all the weight of Backcountry's is focused on mounting points of the pannier racks. In short - for off road - R80. IMO.

If you want to install our Heel guards - yes, you need to remove passenger foot pegs.

Hi again, I can't fit the heatshield from Mosko on the wings exhaust where it`s needed. The bags touch a little bit on top of the exhaust, and there is now space for the heatshield between the plastic and the exhaust. Do you still think that I need it when the harness isn't touching the exhaust? thanks again

Hi Xevi, we sell only what we manufacture. And we don't manufacture exhausts. But I strongly advise you to check Wings silencers. I use them on all my bikes and design and quality is top - wings-exhausts.com/

Hi Hugo. Notice that I use Wings silencer, which runs much cooler than stock. With proper heat shield placement, bags were never in danger.

Do these scratch up the plastics at all?

They do. All rack-less luggage do. Not much, but they leave marks. I guess you could apply clear protective self-adhesive foil/film. Or just buy new plastics once you decide to sell the bike.
