once again, a fascinating documentation, has to be the fastest ive ever seen a fish resume normal activity after a traumatic event. rather not have seen the lil guy hit the floor, but kinda helped me understand how tough bass are and how i often manage to catch the same bass in the wild. my friends said: "nope, just two similar looking bass" so i put a small drop of non toxic marine epoxy on one's forehead, released it, and sure enough a few fish later he was back, sometimes i would find him on line 3-4 times a day and almost always near the same sunken tree pile! also fascinating that fish are attracted to a laser dot, and how much response it got from the fish. good stuff, i appreciate the window into the fascinating world of my favorite fish; Mr. Micropterus salmoides!

I love your videos bud, been watching a long time but never commented but i have to comment on this one. I'm a certified animal care specialist and pet trainer and i have to say something about your cats weight my friend. Even a little over weight like buster can and will drastically shorten a cats life span, and borderline morbidly obese like your orange cat can cut their life span in half. Just look up recommended feeding amounts for over weight cats and follow that RELIGIOUSLY until a vet recommended weight and you will greatly increase both your cats quality of life. This is a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM that MUST NOT be treated lightly. Cheers.

I had my oscar do that. He jumped straight out and it scared the hell out of me. Then after i put him back in, he came right back to the surface for some food. Then when i was moving my big silver arowana, he got scared and flew out of the tank. I closed my eyes for a split second because i got scared and when I opened my eyes the arowana was no where to be seen in the tank. Then out of nowhere i hear flapping on the ground behind me. Sure enough he flew out the tank. I grabbed him and put him back in the tank and he was a little banged up. But it wasnt bad

I noticed your heater. Is it a Fluval M300? Mine broke two nights ago and killed four of my fish. There must have been a fracture in the glass tube or something as the bottom inch or so or the tube came off, exposing the heater coil to the water. I think it over-heated as there are burn marks all the way up the tube.

I'm going to point out that even accidental breedings are illegal because our state, being as weird as it can be sometimes, doesn't allow us to breed game fish. Then again, Alabama will let you keep several large, carnivorous, exotic species of cat so who the hell knows what's going through their minds.
