Vets actually do have ambulances. I was surprised to learn that too. I had to search it up when my dog got poisoned when she ate an ant trap (all is good. Her face swelled up for a while but went down in a few hours.). Makes sense though when you think about it. Like what if an animal is seriously hurt or sick but their owner is disabled and can't get them in the car?

I feel sad for Drew though because he suffers the worst in the film. He's already dealing with an abusive stepdad, a blissfully unaware mother, he has to watch his die get murdered, only to come back and murder the guy, only for HIM to come back and resume the abuse he thought was over, and when he tries to get away, he dies for it. It's a crappy situation and unlike the other characters in the film, he isn't an asshole victim.

Yeah. I've come to learn to not wholly blame directors for a bad film. While sometimes it is a director's fault--usually if they're inexperienced or difficult to work with--most of the time they're just trying to make something out of whatever gets forced into their lap. More often than not, it's the producers who tend to be the ones to butcher a film and throw the directors/writers/actors/etc. under the bus when the end result isn't very good.

About Church and the blood sample: From what I remember of "Pet Sematary," Church was sent to be neutered, but for whatever reason, died while still under the veterinarian's care. I think that's how they acquired his blood sample. Admittedly, I have not watched the original film in years, so I could be getting this wrong. I'm just offering an explanation based on my recollection of it. Maybe someone out there could confirm or deny if that's how it happened?

It irritated me that they came back as zombies. In the first movie, just as in the novel, they truly came back to life, but were corrupted. The foulness of the cemetery made them evil and dumb, but they were physically alive.

Depends on the voltage, but usually when you grab something that has electricity ruling through it your muscles in your hand contracts tightening the grip. Letting go willingly isn't an option at that point.

Wasn't this the plot for Goosebumps?! I remember there being two episodes where the kids were actors in a movie about a zombie cat! And the main female kid was being haunted by an evil cat she hit with her bike. And that was still a better story than his shit! Also, what the fuck was with the bully?! What bully sees a random kid and says "I'll gladly beat the shit out of this kid because his mom died!" Not just that, but what bully would kill a random kid?! "I barely know you and have no investment in your life, let me kill you and go to prison! It makes sense!" Maybe if the kid bullied John Connor ever since he was a kid and came from a garbage family it would make sense! But he is given NO character traits other than bully who will go down for murder over someone he doesn't know!
