I still stand that this version is far superior to the original in every way and is easily one of the best remixes we've heard so far

I like this one, and I like the style of music that Color Splash and Origami King brought to the series, but this remade theme feels less idyllic and calm than the original. The original theme made the area feel even more peaceful, and I think it's because the new one introduces more percussion and other instruments. There's just more going on in the new track, and I don't think that's bad in a vacuum, but it does make Petalburg feel like more of a bustling area than it should, at least in my opinion.

@@iliya1933 I wouldn't use the word "bustling" at all. I think it sounds a lot more tranquil and soothing now. The added string instruments make it sound prettier - more fitting more a small town in a peaceful meadow. There's more instruments, yes, but that doesn't equate to more chaotic sounding music. Petalburg is my favorite song in the original, and I was so worried they'd mess the remix up, but it sounds perfect! It's a new take on the song while also keeping true to the spirit of the original.

Looks more alive, maybe because of the water sfx but seeing how the now added instruments can give that impression aswell i'd still say it's an upgrade over the original imo!

This is incredible. Honestly reminds me of the Mario & Luigi games, specifically that one super cheerful song from Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story when you’re exploring some big grassy area (I forgot the name but everyone who played must know what I’m referring to lol)
