Replacing the pipe that you opened to add water with a Y-Shaped pipe would allow you to fill without touching the main plumbing, check values easily, and access the pump.

Awesome stuff!! great work, and thanks for the share! watching this gave me some ideas on how to combine this style of setup with an Aquaponics system integrated, to create a closed loop ecosystem with fish creating the fertilizer, that way you just feed the fish and monitor the nutrients, you would get veges and fresh fish too!! could be achieved on a reasonably large scale with a 1000L water tank, then just use a filtered intake near the top of the tank to feed the vertical farm, if that makes sense? Anyways, thanks again for the share!!

if im not mistaken, its a flanel fabric. some people use it in hydroponic planting because hydroponic does not use soil as the medium so flanel fabric is needed to absorb water so the root can collect water from the fabric.

@@AmitRaka79 Have you made sure your greens get enough light? For optimal growth the plants should get a full days worth of light (18 hours) in a 24 hour day.

In addition to the other comments you've received, you may want to check your pH. It should be between 5.5 and 6.5, ideally around 6.0. If it's too far off, the plants will not be able to take up the nutrients from the water properly and you'll have poor growth. Good luck.

The most worrying and damages which happen to be common in gardening is not water, fertilizers and equipment. It is the pest and insects control. You could have 100 or acres of land that could grow food to feed the people. But how you want to stop the pest and insects is the hidden secret which in KZbin videos they don't tell you.

@@vsiorikis it's not as much about what you're growing as the system you've built. This pvc tower is fed from above in a sort of constant dripping down of nutrient rich water. It's called an nft system. The only you saw with the strawberries is called an ebb and flow. The roots are held in a medium and are allowed to be dried out to oxygenate before being rehydrated. A nft system has pretty decent oxygenation already by nature of it's design

Change the water when the plant begins to make flowers. Put a solution of water and salt scaler for 48 hours. Then you take it off. At the end put back the water with the most concentrated nutrients 1.6 .

Way too much trouble, lettuce is way cheaper in the store and always fresh. Maybe practice and learn how to quick-draw a side arm or make paper mâché dolls.
