@@gladysjulien264 breck road is a well known road in Anfield pretty tough place apparently Pete's Mum grew up in that area and he used to visit there when he was younger and occasionally still went back there when up to no good or good whichever way you look at it . Anyway great song I love it and the song that introduced me to his music years ago as I know the area very well.

Youre missing the genius of the songs meaning maybe. The way i understand the song, Breck road is a red light district, Pete's Breck road lover is a working girl, a scrubber in society's eyes, but not in Pete's, their relationship isn't one of customer/prostitute, but neither are they bf/gf, they're simply 2 people who've met and connected and loved each other on a level only possible and which can only be understood by those who've walked that walk. They share something beautiful, but something that not everyone would recognise as beautiful, especially those that haven't lived that life. But obviously you agree that his description of the relationship is beautiful, even tho in reality many may view it as tragic or ugly, thro his lyrics it's undoubtedly a beautiful relationship in his eyes
