I was and am not a big Peter Allen fan. And I have made many a joke about his campy performances. But I have watched a bunch of interviews that he did and have been so impressed. What a nice, decent man. RIP Peter Allen

This channel is an incredible resource. Fortunately, unlike Peter's musical observation about Judy, all that's left of the singer is NOT all that's left of the song. There is so much depth to his talent, energy and output, as you constantly show us through this very generously shared trove. We can only imagine what he would have been doing as he approached 80 years young, but it's hard to consider that he would have slowed down much at all. I dragged my feet getting along to The Boy From Oz - I never saw McKenney or Jackman - and it was kind of deliberate as I couldn't fathom how any living actor could accurately put Peter across, but I recently attended a local (non-professional) production in Melbourne who absolutely threw everything at it and it was an incredibly emotional experience. I'll be heading to another one next month! Keep up your great work. Please don't do what I did and ignore take-down requests, if you get any. I lost 100+ irreplaceable videos when my own channel got deleted following what I considered some very petty requests by a company that bought up product - didn't produce it themselves - and I hit the strike limit. It still irks and pains me.

So sorry for your loss of videos. That's a lot of videos. The KZbin copyright management system does a good job of detecting copyright and giving them the ad revenue. I don't monetize so all the revenue goes to the copyright holders.

@@TheMusicMagicofPeterAllen in this case it was a greedy UK company who were about to do a commercial release, and seemed to think that my old and short VHS clips were somehow going to affect their precious revenue. Unfortunately when the channel went it took with it over a hundred vids that had nothing to with it, and which I no longer had the masters for. Really agonising.

That's horrible! Then the content from your clips should had been scanned/ID'ed by KZbin for copyright so the company would get the ad revenue and not lose out on anything. 📼
