Maybe I'm a bit biased (Okay I'll admit it, I am!), but I prefer Peter Allen's version of "You and Me" ("We Wanted It All") above and beyond all the others! It could be because songwriters know how their songs should sound. Co-written with Carole Bayer Sager, "You and Me" was written for Frank Sinatra's 1980 Trilogy album. Sinatra preferred the title, "You and Me", while Allen preferred the title, "We Wanted It All", but whose to argue with the legendary Frank Sinatra? This scene from Peter's 1981 Radio City Music Hall Concert with The Rockettes is his first time performing the song, which is very impressive:)

This song was recorded on Allen's 1983 Not The Boy Next Door album at: • Peter Allen "You And M... .
