He's always talking about how he can't sing and can't play the guitar that well. His humbleness irks me, so I made this. #TheUniverseLovesPeterCapaldi

In late February, Peter wrote and recorded a song called 'If I Could Pray' with the instrumental backing of Monk's Road Social. Inspired by his work with Coram, he wrote it as a message to kids who have gone through rough childhoods, especially those in the adoption and foster care systems. It's a fantastic piece of music and I implore you to check it out! You can find it on Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play, amongst other places.

Because 12's style mimics Peter's own, I just imagine in most of these videos that it's just the doctor traveling through time and appearing along side these other bands and just vibing with them.

That is a possibility, I never read anything on the specifics of his departure. Naturally, good Dr.Who info is difficult to come by across the pond. I feel like he was just getting to the point where he was capturing the essence of his portrayal of Dr. Who. Totally believe he could have had 10+ seasons in the role. He is such a charismatic, extremely talented actor.

@@doc7577 I remember him saying that he wanted to stop while he loved it. He didn't want to play the Doctor too long because he'd become bored and he'd never want Dr. Who to feel like a job. I remember when I was supposed to go see Christopher Robin with my family in the Cinemas in Blackburn, about a month later we went down to the movies to go see it if it was still there. We saw that the poster was outside but none of us saw the date, so we went up about 5 flights of stairs JUST to go see if it was still out to watch. So we got to the reception (after carrying heavy coats, heavy bags and food we already got from the shops) to find out that the movie was only on for a week at the Blackburn Cinema, I said “Well one of you people should’ve removed the bleeding poster!”
