excellent vocals. love this song. picks me up off the ground every time. Of course the whole movie does that. at least twice a year for me. I own 2 dvds of it in case I wear one out. sure wish they'd do a blu ray. everything else has one. Yellowbeard, Ice Pirates... now The Pirate movie please!

@@drewlazarou9012 I don't think so, he misses a cue at least once... that could be on the recording though.... still, any extra backing could be recorded itself, that is sometimes done when someone isn't available to appear with the rest of the group. James Taylor did Shower the People on SNL years ago and there was a guy in the front of the stage with a reel to reel playing the backing track, it was dead on perfect. SNL had (maybe still has) a policy of no lip syncing. Would love to get it confirmed on this one way or the other.
