Where are the artists today? Why aren't there major singers today using their music to bring attention to the atrocities going on in the world today? All today's stars care about is how much money they can make. They do not care about making a difference in the world. This man cared then, he cares now. He made a difference. He proved it can be done. WAKE UP ALL YOU SO CALLED STARS TODAY!!! Use your voice, use your music, use them to make a difference in the world beyond making TicketMaster rich.

Peter was hot, talent oozing from ever pore (no ear pieces, no auto tune, wrote his own songs), humble with a conscience
@morbidmanmusic Жыл бұрын
earpieces are just monitors that don't feed back. They make everyones job easier. Sinatra didn't write his own tunes.. wanna slam him..?? that is just stupid commentary on your part. Auto tune... no, but distortion, compression, tape speed echos and a million other production things that people whined about... it isn't the tech, it is who is using it for what. Something Peter got and you don't. Learn to like something, without slamming something or someone else's art. It is a sad persons cliche.

Peter Gabriel was the co-founder of the Genesis band in 1967 in Surrey. He realised six albums with the original Genesis. Then Peter Gabriel left Genesis in 1975 for some important reasons. In 1977, he recorded his first solo album in Canada with some American musicians. Then, he realised three experimental albums until his best album "So" with songs for all the people and also for his ex-fans of psychedelic music. Now, we are all looking forward to his new album, because Peter Gabriel is seriously a kind of musical genius.

As a composer, artist and person, Peter Gabriel has not only had a significant influence on the development of popular music - he has redefined the very concept. Peter Gabriel does more than just intertwine music, voice and images - his music is at once a megaphone for the global society and its most unflinching critic. 0:03 [Polar Music Prize]

The song “Biko,” a tribute to the murdered South African human rights activist Stephen Biko, marked a turning point in Gabriel’s career. For the first time, he directly addressed political and social issues - in this instance, the struggle against the apartheid system of racial segregation in South Africa. Gabriel had long admired the work of African and Middle Eastern musicians, and his own music increasingly reflected their influence. 1:11 [Academy Of Achievement]
