Don't give a shit about the negative comments on here, thought it was wonderful. Have to thank PG for some of the songs that have carried me through my life including this song. Need your love so bad still gets me to this day. My health isn't good at the moment but music lifts me, emotionally sometimes, but it helps me through the shit. Its all relative so be nice. We should appreciate all the good things and music is one of them. Don't forget non of us get out of here alive folks.

Their tickets were priced at Peter Green rates...not Watson rates. Without Green Watson would be playing covers in your local bar! He wouldn't have a career without Green.

Between 1959 and 1969 we had the most exciting and brilliant music the world has seen - Elvis, Buddy, Chuck , Little Richards and all the other great rock and rollers , then in the 60s The Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Dylan, etc etc. Fast forward 50 years and what have we got ..Justin Beaver and an assortment of boy bands. How I'd love to have been born in the 40s

between 1965 and 1980 saw the explosion of FUSION of Classic Rock, Jazz and Blues. The amplifiers and instruments and talent we're an exponential function of creativity UN matched. 400 years from now when they study this time, TWO artists/bands will stand out.......Frank Zappa........ and .....the Beatles.

I had seen The Splinter group so many times . Got to talk to the band many times . Saw Peter often . My friend Greta knew them better than me . Through that I got to know them. We all have to go sometimes . Peter was a haunted soul . He isnt anymore. We lost a good one.

First time I heard a Peter Green track was by total accident. Found a cassette next to a fireplace in Peckforten Castle which was being used by "Treasure Trap" a Live Role Playing Adventure site, and Me and my fellow dungeoneers listened to it in my Cortina Mk 2's cassette player on the way home and I flippin loved it - not sure if it had quite the same effect on my PUNK friends but... Hey... each to their own!

I meet my wonderful wife in1969, and when i first heard this song i was at a party with her, it was instant love after 42 years nothings changed except the three fantastic kids, every time i hear this song it makes me love her more. Thanks for the instrumental version will get them to play it when its time for me to pass over to the other side!!!!!!!!!!!

Peter was the best of Clapton, Page and Beck at the time. They idolized him. he had a bad trip and never recovered. He lost his mojo. We still have his wonderful playing to listen to. He also sang this song and many others. They sold more albums than the beatles in the late sixties, without the girls.

This is such a soul-stirring rendition of this song. There is something so much more melodic about British rock guitarists... They seem to be devoid of the ego and the "look at me" attitude that seems to accompany so many Yanks. When I hear this, I am also hearing Tim Renwick, Al Stewart's session man for the bulk of his years, and as live guitarist for Pink Floyd on tour, both Waters and Gilmour's.

I have had my fill of Disney-addicted, pickup driving, flag-waving, "woot-woot" types, and I really enjoyed the countryside, the cleanliness of many of the small villages--the entire package, really.
