'Modern' is one of the best songs of 'The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage' by Peter Hammill, which is also his best prog album. This is just phenomenal!Outstanding musicians! With love from Ukraine.

Probably my favourite song from his solo career! Such an powerful apocalyptic atmosphere...

I like "The Lie" the best. Its really fun to learn on piano. This song is definitely second favorite though. Also hello to the Ukraine. I'm quarter Ukrainian, Polish and Lithuanian but born in America.

@@Lellos_ Well, that atmosphere is one of the things which I like about this song. To be honest, it is difficult for me to choose my favourite song from a catalog of 40 albums full of great compositions. The works of PH are really impressive! So I wonder if you checked them all out.

@@h.p.dominocus 'The Lie (Bernini's Saint Theresa)' is another great composition from the same album. The lyrics have a profoundly religious theme, the track even sounds like it was recorded in a giant cathedral. Live renditions of this song seem to be very passionate and emotional. Also, I would like to mention that this month a member of VDGG and PH's band Guy Evans had a birthday. What a drummer!

@@orio723 I haven't listened to all of his albums yet. I listened only to his first six solo albums and to the first eight VDGG albums. I'm sorry if it sounded like I listened to all of his work, but I'm looking forward to do so!

Furcsa, hogy egyetlen hozzászólást sem érdemelt ez a remekmű! Bár kétségtelen az eredetijét jobban lehet szeretni, de ez is kemény!

i don't see how he's fat. He's clearly quite skinny, and always has been (probably hasn't ever went to a gym). Also, this video seems to be in the wrong aspect ratio
