@@randomrom747 Bro, broski, brobot... each live action Peter is congruent to certain eras of Spider-Man. Tobey's Peter is congruent to the 60s and 70s Amazing Spider-Man comics, Andrew's Peter is a mix of the 80s and 90s comics (specifically Todd McFarlane's run) and the ultimate comics, and Tom's Peter is a mix of the ultimate comics and Dan Slott's run on Spider-Man: Big Time, with a hint of Miles' style. I know you know this already, but remember that Peter's life hasn't stayed the same since 1962. I'm not saying this to berate you, but I just want to remind you that each comic writer has a slightly different take on Spider-Man while still having the core personality of Peter Parker; they are all more accurate to different versions.

Rigidity flexibility ratio is the ratio for how tough material is while also having the ability to bend. The ratio is for calculations in things like Formula 1 cars as an example, you want strong components but if they don't have any flexibility then small movements like vibrations and bouncing can cause the material to fail.

Peter Parker: "Mass cancels out so it's just g-sin-theta." Me, an intellectual: "Just take the double-time-derivative of the position function, then just hire some poor math undergrad student to do the actual math."

Us physicists aren't actually bad at math, I just like to joke that we are, because we sure are lazy when it comes to doing math.

@Miami Honestly, I thought Maguire was "meh" on both counts. The writing was to blame for him as Spider-Man, as the dialogue had none of the wit or humor expected; simply put, he didn't have much of anything to work with there. However, as Peter Parker, I thought his performance could be summed up as "looking passive and resigned as the world shits on him". Peter Parker does have infamously bad luck, but I thought he just sat and took entirely too much misfortune and abuse like he DESERVED it or something. It wasn't a bad performance, but there was certainly room for improvement.
