How come we are planting up productive land in pines but not shit land down south? Molesworth is poor land, why not carbon plant it?

These are issues that will not be forgotten. It is clear that the Act Party or NZ First seems not to be focused on. Which current MPs have a conservation mind?

There are all these people who have opted out of employment and live on benefits and there are all these people Labour are sending home for detention to get prison numbers down. Then we have all those ram raiding teens, among others. All of these groups could be coopted (probably separately) into providing a contribution to the community in order to "earn" their benefits. They could be out there doing all kinds of park maintenance, etc etc. We should have no shortage of help out there.

Peter this is all stuff the public can be doing with you. Dumb question , but have you tried to get a team of the public together with some trained people to get this done. Be a good program to show the country what we can do when we come together and just deal with a problem.

I rang a contractor about wilding pine work. Got offered $25 a hour as a chainsaw operator. In the forest I would get $30 plus $5 for tool. Pay some decent wages
