Cultural suicide can happen if you completely empty your culture of its basic values; the most basic (where liberalism was founded on, too) is the Christian way of life, the worship of God instead of the worship of fallen humans - prove me wrong!

But it happened, and similar things are happening now around the world. When Bletchley Park was being preserved for posterity Germany actually contributed money towards the project. WW2 happened. Both sides now view it as a tragedy. Historical guilt is pointless, while historical learning and evaluation is essential. Yet our history is being rewritten to fit a woke narrative that is completely fictional.

I was born and raised in the East End of London. I and all my friends have spoken for years about mass immigration and the effect it has on us the indigenous "community ". For decades the British middle-classes have talked down to us calling us uneducated and a lot worse. Now I and my friends agree that if that's what all the woke people want then let them have it. My generation won't be around many more years but we will watch with pleasure as even the more affluent areas of the country like Surrey become "enriched" and their "educated " population squeals as England dies .They cannot say they were not warned .

I grew up between Essex and Waterloo in the 70's. My relations were true south Londoner's. They'd been through WW2 and the Blitz. My Dad was evacuated for a while but when he returned home his playground was the bombsites around the Southbank. All of these loved one's have passed on and their London is just a memory now. But their stories and my experiences of this ancient, beautiful and brave City live on in my heart. When I die, my ashes are going straight into the Thames off Waterloo Bridge. London is in my blood and it made me who I am today. A proud Londoner. It isn't just bricks and mortar, London is a spirit that lives and breathes. Our history is too powerful to be put down for too long.

i still have my London childhood (i am 67) in my heart. how different people were back then. I loved London so much, used to be taken to Trafalgar Square with my Mum each birthday cold cold nights singing carols under that Christmas Tree from Norway. if she could afford it, mum bought a bag of roasted chestnuts for us on way back to underground but that was rare. bombsites, gosh i remember those, where children climbed over bricks and stones i walked thru them in Kilburn on my way home from school picking the remnants of the flowers from the ruined gardens and taking them home to mum. i remember red brick walls all broken in the gardens and even today i love walled gardens always remind me of my childhood days walking in warm sunshine from Queens Park Library. Even the people you saw were friendly saying hello etc. an the Sally Ann playing their instruments on London Streets. Rose Gardens in the local Rec and the Swings where i spent many happy hours with my dad. all gone now.

It breaks my heart to hear what this man is saying and how he is showing true concern on how his countrymen are being diluted deliberately. Unbelievable. Only in the West would this happen. No other country would deliberately want to ruin their country with mass immigration unless there is a darker reason. So difficult for these wonderful people to come out and discuss a problem against the powerful political system of today. It takes guts and true instinct to fight for what is right. 😢

It's not quite a zero immigration policy they have, they just reasonably ask that you can support yourself, ie have a job lined up or visa sponsor for work and they don't hand out ridiculous benefits to foreigners. Sure there are other hoops as well but it's a perfectly reasonable policy that any civilised country should have. And yes, you're right; their society is about as close to humanely possible to get to perfect IMHO. Very low crime (although there seems to be a problem with sexual harassment crimes). They send small children to school unaccompanied or to the shops because there is virtually no risk to them. Because its a homogeneous population their whole ethos and outlook is to be respectful, think of others more than yourself and not rock the boat. These things are inconceivable in the west as people here are straight up narcissists.

Japan accepts very few asylum seekers each year - often less than 100. The war in Ukraine increased the number of accepted asylum cases in the last couple of years, but this is an anomaly from the norm. Japan has allowed more foreign workers in recently, and will invite more in the future, but they are issued strict, short-term working visas. The working visa does not offer an easy route to acquiring permanent residency and naturalisation of any foreigner is all but impossible. So, after the work visa expires, almost all foreign workers return home. If you overstay and are deported, or commit a crime and are deported, there is no way back into the country on fake documentation as Japanese immigration retains complex biometrics on everyone who enters, or leaves, Japan.

Immigration must be the foremost issue at the General Election. I was born in Britain & my ethnic origin is Asian. If people fear the UK's White population is on the decline, people should say so. If the fear is that Britain is becoming a Muslim country, people should say do. Keir Starmer is about to become PM. The Labour Party is ready to allow the UK to be demographically destroyed by unlimited immigration. What is the point of allowing the sabotaging the Conservative vote to allow Labour to walk into power with the SNP remaining in power in Scotland?

Peter, your seem to express a sense of eternal optimism, that no matter how bad things may become, eventually they will improve. In the context of this discussion, I do not share your position. There is no reason for improvements. Indeed, what we are witnessing is likely to become the new normal. With regards to Westminster and Parliament, it now does not serve and represent the silent majority in this country, and has been moving this way for some time. Moreover, I have ceased to put my trust in the Establishment and in Parliament. It is time we stopped believing in and putting our trust in our political and, so called, democratic systems. They do not work. Our only hope and way forward is to stand up and fight, against those systems, for what we want. It will not be given to us. We have to take it. (University of Kent alumni)

I definitely recall a discussion about the downside of immigration, when a schoolboy in the esrly sixties. This was in Finsbury Park, where one of my schoolmates mentioned that yet another West Indian family had moved in to the road he lived in.His family were fed up with the influx as West Indians tended to be very noisy, never looked after their property and allowed their gardens to overgrow. They were not pleasant neighbours, hence his families annoyance.

Our country has not only been let down but is steadily being destroyed from within by the current duopoly of the Conservatives and Labour. This started with the administration of Tony Blair and has continued ever since. So what can be done about this? Voters have to take the plunge and vote against these two parties, particularly Labour, as the decline will only increase under them. I honestly advise taking a look at the SDP, Reform and Reclaim as the best alternatives to reverse this 'state of emergency' as Peter terms it.

I don't know Peter Whittle, but listening to his discourse, I was motivated to join the New Culture Forum. I wish him and his organization well. But I'm not hopeful. I have personally fought against the radical Left for decades, but "the long march " has been relentless. To cite one example: I challenged the curator of Leeds Art Gallery about the way in which the gallery was traducing the reputation of General Gordon. In the gallery hangs a portrait of 'Gordon's Last Stand' by William Joyce. The gallery commissioned a 'modernist' to"challenge our perceptions about the myth of Gordon," but I chose to challenge theirs. "What' is the myth of Gordon?" I asked the curator. "There is some ambiguity about his death?" "Really? And what is it that you think is ambiguous?" He didn't know. He would have to "consult the research." Revisionism revisited! I wasn't impressed and told him so. "I'm not a great expert like you," he retorted. Unwarranted flattery. But, as a trained historian, it bothers me that our history can be so wilfully traduced and serve to corrupt the minds of the young, the innocent, and the gullible. And yet it goes on. William Snowden. Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley.
