After being put on antibiotics at 15 for acne until I was 18, I have long term gut health problems still. These drugs are not safe for long term use, especially for something as harmless as acne. No doctor ever warned me of the dangers, and I suffer the consequences of this malpractice years later. Chronic fatigue, constipation, bloating, depression, anxiety. Why are more people not talking about the risks????

I had a full hip replacement and I have to take 4 acetaminofen every time I have a dental cleaning or procedure, for the rest of my life. I've been told that this preventative measure very minimally impacts my gut microbiome but prevents the possibility of infection in the hip joint. I eat a lot of high fiber veggies and seeds, Greek yogurt and kimchi before my dental appointments. I'd prefer not to take it but I certainly don't want any complications with my hip!
