I love this stuff. Thanks for putting it out there Peter. I put myself on metformin even though I never have elevated bg or a1c and immediately pushed the needle on weight loss where I had been stuck. It also helped me move more easily into getting ketotic, now I cycle it. My next step is going to be adding rapamycin but I'm still considering the dose and how to cycle it. I'm so glad this information is available in a digital and digestible format. No time to sit and read!

Here in Mexico rapamune is quite a bit pricier than metformin. It's about $450 for 60 1mg tablets, which isn't impossibly priced but I can only imagine how much it'd be if insurance didn't cover it in the US

I agree with Nir Barzilai: 73,good health, eat one meal or within two hours, 1350 mg of metformin an hour before I eat,260 mg NR , resveratrol 500 mg. being age 73, I am more concerned about cancer and improve health span.

Metformin and syrosingopine have been shown to work synergistically to work with each other to potently have an anti cancer effect. Syrosingopine also “was” a very good drug to also lower blood pressure. Why is it that syrosingopine is not even on the market anymore, it would be an awesome part of an anti-aging stack. Is it possible to request anti-aging websites like agelessrx to somehow source that I wonder🤔.

Do we know anything about the 200 gene expressions that change as women age versus the 560 genes that change in men? Regarding the 46m/59m mark on how low-dose rapamycin seems to help vaccine / the immune-system by better regulating interferon, while larger doses inhibit the immune system and therefore maybe helpful once there's a cytokine storm.. sounds much like the risk-management of using 500mg of quercetin or 250mg of hydroxychloroquine, 25mg zinc and zithromax, the prevention upside seems much greater than any downside. So one is best protected while actively taking 1500mg metformin (spread throughout the day) and low-dose Afinitor (everolimus) / rtb101 (rapalog).. where rtb101 is an atp competitive inhibitor instead of an allosteric inhibitor.. what would be the dosing schedule? Also enjoyed the episode with Stanley Perlman on how to prepare for the next outbreak (1h3m) as well as the strategy discussed here (2h3m).. however, is there any reason why no ever seems to mention investing in antibody cloning machines. It would seem, having an army of machines cranking out antibodies from recovered patients, could help those most seriously affected. Do the antibodies not transfer well?

How about a definitive study on Vitamin D? We have correlational evidence but no one is saying that taking Vitamin D at a certain level will provide the protection against Covid etc.

Peter, is there anyway I can get involved with your work? I’m a junior in college majoring in exercise science. I would love to get involved, experience, and research to not only boost my resumé but learn as well

Rapalogs + Metformin = Rejuvenation of many systems. Fantastic! Long Fasting + Refeeding = Rejuvenation of many systems. Fantastic! It's time to bring Valter Longo to the podcast and discuss these topics and the optimal protocol for biohackers who are willing to perform prolonged water only fasts + Metformin + Rapamycin. Bring Longo in, please,🙏

Wow! One year ago in this Podcast it was predicted that protection against COVID will wane! Natural and from Vaccines. And now it's proven! Good job Peter! You also mentioned you were working in a project in exactly this topic for the vaccines. Did you finish that project? Are there any published results yet?

Dr. Attia, I respect what you are doing. There should be more of us like you. Hot you with a couple thoughts. are most of the Metformin studies in diabetes, Dr. Longo says he wouldn't take it if he were 80 yrs old, bc he thinks diabetics are fundamentally different and the risk is worth the reward. Then, Dr. Sinclair seems good with it, so far as I can tell. I got to say, if the sponsorship was user friendly, I would sign up. I contribute to the Rhonda Patrick Podcast. Some work on the front end ,a link in the show notes maybe, would pay dividends, I think. keep on Rockin. .Appreciate what you're doing.
