Now that winter’s coming, I need to get this truck painted before it gets too cold so it’s all hands on deck … some final filler, sanding and mock-up but I actually finish the bodywork on LBL in this episode and I’m finally over the hump - can you believe it??? Now time to finish setting up the booth, mask it off, wipe it down and start slinging primer and paint - can’t wait!
If you appreciate these videos and like classic trucks, I encourage you to check out and join the American Truck Historical Society: www.aths.org/
Also, be sure to check out my new KZbin channel Snowman Speed Shop / @snowmanspeedshop
Thanks for watching and as always, I appreciate all the comments, suggestions, and support!
As always, keep in mind, I know a little about a lot but not an expert in anything … just doing the best I can, learning as I go ... I do all my own stunts
Subscribe for notifications for future episodes that I do my best to upload new videos weekly on Thursdays
Note that for some reason KZbin set my channel as made for kids awhile back so if you haven’t been getting notifications, just unsubscribe, re-subscribe and hit the bell to ensure you never miss an episode!

Thanks for accepting advice from career body and paint guys.!!! We want to see you win big and not make the same costly and soul draining mistakes we’ve made in the past 😂 take your time and make sure you don’t bite off too much at once. Also you can buy super cheap plastic at autobody supply places that is really thin and works great to cover whole cars/tables/semis. really saves a ton of cleanup. keep up the good work man.

Hi mate just wanted to say the more you machine sand the filler the more work you make for yourself as your rubbing the high bit of filler that creates low spots around the repair which you can see in the outcome.if you spread the filler more and use a block to flatten out before primer.cheers keep up the good work from New Zealand

Hey Mark, I have been enjoying your channel. Love the Snowman truck. Watched the video on putting the vinyl on it. Watched the video you taking her to a kw show. Anyway. I’m a fairly new fan. My brother was a trucker driver. Been doing that all the way up in his early 70ies. Pancreatic cancer took his life. So I have always been a fan of trucks and truck driving. Because of my brother. Thank you for having this channel. You’re very talented on what you do. And have the time and patience doing it. My brother went by either Boss or Bosshogg. See that’s our last name lol. Take care good buddy.

Thanks for another great video Mark. I can appreciate your drive and determination as being an auto enthusiast and home painter of limited ability, I totally understand the pain of doing body work over and over and over. Its dusty, dirty and the least fun part of rebuilding and restoration but as you stated, its one area you don't want to skimp on. Little by Little is coming along nicely and is going to look fabulous once its finally in paint!!!!

Great job Mark! Likely by time I see this episode you’re already done painting but When I paint in my “all purpose” shop I use the same fan as you have and really like it. The only addition I make is that I made a frame with 2x4 and plywood with a fan sized hole in it which sits on the floor then I bring the door down onto that. Helps keep the heat in and forces the fan to just draw air from the shop. I’ll open the man door which in my case is on the exact opposite end of the shop as needed so some return air come in. Works really well.

What you need is a curtin rod or track along the top sectioning off each bay. Thus way you can paint in any bay. Best thing I did in my garages, slide or tuck them off to the side when not being used and easy to set up when needed.
