The point was not about how they stack already finished tricks (for which there is a law so you are not supposed to change it -- although I know there are many people who do) but the opening lead, and possibly the first card of the subsequent tricks before the trick is finished.

As far as I know there is no law about this, but there will probably be one now :)

On Bridgewinners site there is the announcement that Monaco has officially withdrawn from the Bermuda Bowl

+Carol Sims Yes that is correct. That announcement came out after my video was posted but Monaco has officially withdrawn from the Bermuda Bowl

I guess everyone needs to sit in an isolated terminal like a phone booth and use computers that are not connected to the internet. Very sad. I would wonder why someone would want to cheat to win, but there are 2 clear reasons. 1. People are vain and simply want the acclaim with being a champion. 2. Even though bridge championships don't pay cash prizes, being known as the best of the best allows one to have access to the richest paid partners.

What's the "accomplishment" in winning that way. If I won "that way," I wouldn't have the slightest feeling of "accomplishment," at all. 1000% depressing, this news.

+CanterburyCat I am sure they get something out of it, but I would guess Money is the biggest incentive.

+Peter Hollands I respect your opinions and information on all this and, yeah, money I guess. But I'm sure neither MeckWell (nor 100,000s more bridge players) would, in a million years, do what Fantunes (and the others) did. They respect the game and themselves too much to ever do it. Fantoni and Nunes may have their nice Monaco paid for flats but their life was bridge and now where can they "appear" in the bridge world without shame. I think they're now quite miserable despite the money they've earned.
