Exactly. I was just looking around for unlimited storage, just for me personally, and it costs $ it can be a lot. I was blown away when I first learned that youtube allows you to upload unlimited..and you can just leave the video unpublished...huh????....I was like , why? Seriously there is no cap????

I totally agree with the KZbin as a library concept. For small creators particularly - like me - having a library of searchable content in the years to come is very important to earning a small "income" (pocket money). Great video, Peter.

Really helpful content, thanks for sharing. Even though I don't consider myself a beginner anymore, I still remember getting started. It was a tough journey. Of course, things are a lot easier now and I'm super grateful that I didn't give up and stayed patient and all the way through. Consistency and hard work (I had to use Famester to kick start my channel, and I am still using it to this day), is the key to success!! Good luck to everybody, you're gonna make it soon.

You've been an inspiration to me for a long time, thanks to this type of videos, so thanks Pete! And although I just haven't found the time to really give it all to my YT channel, I have been able to build a video production business using what I've learned from you and others like you, doing what I love, which is making awesome visual content. And you are right on in that the focus should not be the money, while the funny thing is that the money comes easily once the world see how passionate you are about what you do. Thanks brother! Your asking the fundamental question of channel content creating. I appreciate the questions you raised in this video. YT has allowed me to become more creative in ways I never imagined. As a pastor I was always beholden to my AV people in the church. By becoming a YTer/content creator, it has allowed me to skill up in ways I never imagined. I'm content that I will be able to improve over time both in content and creativity.

I started a channel to create additional content for the on-line webzine/magazine I create, it was also so I could learn how KZbin works, and improve my presentation skills, and to blast the rust off my video skills, as whilst I use to make a lot of videos for my job I realised it's been a while since I've done any motion image work, so all my skills had become rusty. If I make any money from it eventually then that would be a bonus but it's currently not my goal.
