Right on. I recently “discovered”, John, and I’m blown away by his talent. I downloaded “The Shadow of the Gods” on kindle unlimited. In the early beginning I thought it was a Norse god book, which I’m kind of burnt out on. Luckily I read another 4-5 pages, and was sucked into the vortex. So incredibly well written, and the story & characters are just top-notch. I’ve read everything else he’s written, except A Time of Courage. That’s next for me. I’m a big Marc Alan Edelheit fan, and fans of self-published fantasy authors in general. Kindle Unlimited has really changed my life for the better. Not a big fan of Amazon bc of many different issues, but the kindle/book world is awesome. Cheers 🍻

What an amazing human being John Gwynn is. I’m so happy to see him doing these interviews again but I must admit to a big lump in the throat hearing him talk about his grief but so happy he has been able to come out the other side of it with the support of his family. My number 1 author of all time😂

So great to see John Gwynne's face appearing all over my KZbin feed! Loving seeing him smiling and talking about writing and family and everything. Shortly after I started Shadow of the Gods, I heard of the terrible news about Harriet. So, I never got to see much of John other than older interviews. While good, it's been a delight to see new news of my current favorite author. Thanks Petrik for hosting another awesome interview!

@@PetrikLeo yeah, I say this because I really enjoyed Ryan Cahill’s novellas, they are all a nice addition to/ side shoot from the main series. And I can totally imagine a novella for some of the characters, like Orka’s life before settling down anonymously (& becoming a mom) or Maquin’s life
