I always wondered why the Petrocellis didn’t adopt Frankie. They hadn’t been blessed with kids of their own following Maggie’s tragic miscarriage and would have given Frankie a new lease on life: plus he’d have helped Tony build the new house. The scriptwriters missed a good storyline there.

The scriptwriter is trying to score a political point with this episode. Not too dissimilar to a few episodes of Quincey which do the same thing.
