The GST council has postponed its decision to discuss the inclusion of petrol prices in GST. There is long demand from people to include petrol in GST so that the petrol price can come down in India. But the states and center are in different opinions when it comes to including petrol prices in GST. This video explains the petrol price calculation in India, the taxes by central and state governments and the share of each government in taxes, etc. This video will analyze the petrol prices if it is included in GST.

ചേട്ടൻ വിട്ട് പോയ ഒരു കാര്യം ഉണ്ട് സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ ചേർക്കുന്ന നികുതി VAT(value added tax) ആണ്. ഇത് കണക്ക് കൂട്ടുക base price+ central govt tax ഒക്കെ കണക്ക് കൂട്ടി കിട്ടുന്ന തുകയുടെ മുകളിൽ നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള അത്രയും ശതമാനം പൈസയാണ്. അപ്പൊ സെൻട്രൽ govt പൈസ കുറച്ചാൽ base price + central tax ആയിട്ടുള്ള പൈസ കുറയും. സ്വാഭാവികമായി value added tax കുറയും.
