It's amazing how many legendary players Soviet chess school had produced. It's even more mind blowing how different their style was. Aggressive and adventurous Tal, mathematically precise and psychologically unbreakable Botvinnik, perfect defender and most uncomfortable to play against Petrosian, universal Spassky. Then almost perfect Karpov and Kasparov came as a as a chess crescendo, both able to attack with insane level of accuracy and Kasparov probably being the GOAT. It's even more amazing that Fischer was able to beat them being basically alone in this battle. What a legendary times for chess.

I think this is the best game with Black of the 1980s. At the time, the chess magazines called it a queensize "dance of death" for the Black king,

It's not a king march. Petrosian doesn't make enough money in chess. So he's a rideshare delivery driver. He's just working.
