My Malay neighbour has a dog which stays outside the family home, it's really a feral dog which they took pity and fed it and he stayed from then on. Everyone in the neighborhood can see and get to know as it's the house at the entrance to the estate.

When my cat sees a cat carrier he is out the door so fast. Doesnt like them at all. Plus he hates been in a moving car. A fun experience!

What prompted you to give your cat the name Earl Grey. The loose leaves and tea bags of the Twinning Earl grey with its aromatic fragrant bergamot infused flavor is my favorite tea. I also like the Earl Grey tea bags from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

wow 7 kilos! My cat weigh half of Earl Grey and find him difficult to hold on for long....especially when he tried to sleep on top of my chest or on my head but love him so much that i just let him do whatever he want...he's the king of the house.

Good morning Taylor..Earl Gray sure is the luckiest cat ! Yes i agree with u there are too many stray cats and dogs in this country…even if there are people doing good by feeding them, which is good but it doesnt solve the problem…i know for stray dogs things can get worse…we were free of rabies for decades until the recent scare..from my own observation most of the stray dogs are those left behind by the contractors or developers once buildings were completed..they were guard dogs once…our goverment should hv monitor on this issue..i pity the dogs.😢

over around quayside poison was left on the walkway every so often. the association denied responsibility, but they did call animal welfare and post notices about stray cats. Maybe just a coincidence. Enjoy Earl.

i think 6 kg is max if you care about his health. we use doctor lynn. just had an emergency with one of our cats. she is fantastic. We did use cuddles but it felt like a factory. The street cats often like the junk food relative to the nutritious food. Sad but true. One cat we cannot change her eating habits. She rather die than eat homemade food and wet food. Cats are known for kidney issues. Glad you have such a good family member.

Love the cat video, thanks Taylor. Usually after their vaccination, do not give them a bath for 10days. During this period, the cat might have a little temperature from the jab, as you mentioned, Earl Grey felt a little warm. Some may have soft stools, less appetite. The vet bill is so affordable. You are lucky to have found a very convenient and reliable vet clinic.

In Sarawak, i have also met old couple mm2h resident many years living in Malaysia for retirement, they both are diligent go to church every week, they both are happy and make a life like local ppl does, since Sarawak and sabah majority christian religion so it's easy go to church for worship ❤

Glad Earl Gray has a clean bill of health. Our Xavier is on Royal Canine Urinary canned and dry. The only time we bring out the carrier is when we take him to the vet, which he doesn't like. Appreciate the vet visit vlog.

Wonderful to see Earl Grey close up. He has a beautiful coat. Malaysian cats are unique very beautiful. And yes..Earl Grey was thanking you for bringing him home with you and the injections ingredients can make them a little sick and lethargic.

For the Malays, many of them like dogs but dogs are quite difficult to take care of especially for cleanliness and hygiene factor, female dogs have menstruation (whereas cats don't have that), most dog have plenty of saliva and are problem too which sometimes can carry diseases like rabies, dog likes to bite and can harm people especially kids and elderly. However, dogs are great friends, they're smart and funny too, if you really love and take care of them they are favorite pets same as cats..

I had to pay 6000 for my cat here in the US, it was exploratory procedure to get fluid samples from his lungs, with scans, and nothing was done at the end. Vet costs are crazy.

Earl Grey is a cute kitty. Took my youngest cat to the vets recently and she is like early grey and does not like her nails getting cut, So I get the vet to do it that alone costs me 25 dollars. Wish there are places like that here where the vet costs are cheaper.

My Grandmothers Siamese cat died after the flea treatment she frothed at the mouth. Back in 2013 I alerted staff at a Petshop that the kittens they brought back from the vet and had just had flea treatment were frothing at the mouth. It’s poison. Our cats have never ever had any fleas and we do not put those treatments on our cats.

Maybe the food not suitable for your cat. I believe many stray cats out there fed with cheap dry cat foods. Many peoples will throw their cats/dogs when they get old/sick.

Many years ago, my beautiful tuxedo cat was taken to an emergency regional animal hospital. He howled with pain because he could not urinate. At the hospital, he finally relieved himself. The vet confirmed that he had a urinary tract problem. He was given medication. Only a very expensive dry cat food purchased from a vet was allowed to be consumed. He became healthy and lived for many years. Eventually, he had diabetes also. Injections were administered once a day. The cat sitter forgot to inject the diabetic medicine a few times when I was on vacation. The poor cat died.

Whenever i go on holidays, i board my cat at his favourite cat boarding hotel which is more than 20km away ... which can take up to an hour's drive depending on the traffic - so technically he goes off on a holiday too! I just dont have the heart to put him at any other cat hotels although they are plenty at where I am staying - there's one that is just a walking distance from my home but I just cant bear to think of how miserable my poor Kitty cat will be. I do hope you will be able to find a better cat boarding for Mr Earl Grey.

Hi Taylor! I'm glad Earl Gray got a good check up! He did so well with the Vet it seemed. Other cats might have been aggressive with the vet when trying to examine them. I loved it when he showed up in the room while you were walking about him while filming, almost like he came in on cue! I really wish more countries develop economical ways to neuter and spay dogs and cats. Here in the US, it is still somewhat expensive for many. I read somewhere that scientists are in the works of developing an oral contraceptive for female cats, but will be a few more years before that might be available.

@@andrewtaylor4558 We'd prefer not touching dogs due to the hassle of washing up per our religion. But there's not a problem keeping dogs as long it's a guard or livestock dog. Hi Andrew. I must say for a stray cat, Earl Grey looks 'classy' indeed!! Must b d careful care u giv him. I like to look at cats at a distance, but wouldn't keep them as pets. Too much of a problem to keep and take care(esp wen I was working b4). Even as it is/ was, they like to mess with my cacti/succulents, which u may know, take a long while to grow. So I try to keep them away frm my house. For your info, d reason y d Malays love cats is because our Prophet Muhammad PBH loved them, regard them as pure/very clean and chosen animal😅. Dat's y I've to also b careful not to harm them! 😊

If you rescue a kitten and love him so much why would you give him the cheapest crap food and block him up so much? In my country UK cats that were rescued are normally taken in and spoiled rotten with the best food and facilities. Sorry but you seem to be overly obsessed by the monetary side of keeping pets which shouldn't be the case , especially as they bring so much joy. Everything you buy , do or say is always met with how many dollars that would be in the US. Life is not always about money
