My Malay neighbour has a dog which stays outside the family home, it's really a feral dog which they took pity and fed it and he stayed from then on. Everyone in the neighborhood can see and get to know as it's the house at the entrance to the estate.

Yes i agree with u there are too many stray cats and dogs in this country…even if there are people doing good by feeding them, which is good but it doesnt solve the problem…i know for stray dogs things can get worse…we were free of rabies for decades until the recent scare..from my own observation most of the stray dogs are those left behind by the contractors or developers once buildings were completed..they were guard dogs once…our goverment should hv monitor on this issue..i pity the dogs.😢

For the Malays, many of them like dogs but dogs are quite difficult to take care of especially for cleanliness and hygiene factor, female dogs have menstruation (whereas cats don't have that), most dog have plenty of saliva and are problem too which sometimes can carry diseases like rabies, dog likes to bite and can harm people especially kids and elderly. However, dogs are great friends, they're smart and funny too, if you really love and take care of them they are favorite pets same as cats..

Earl Grey is a cute kitty. Took my youngest cat to the vets recently and she is like early grey and does not like her nails getting cut, So I get the vet to do it that alone costs me 25 dollars. Wish there are places like that here where the vet costs are cheaper.

During this period, the cat might have a little temperature from the jab, as you mentioned, Earl Grey felt a little warm. Some may have soft stools, less appetite. The vet bill is so affordable. Glad Earl Gray has a clean bill of health. Our Xavier is on Royal Canine Urinary canned and dry. The only time we bring out the carrier is when we take him to the vet, which he doesn't like. Appreciate the vet visit vlog.

i think 6 kg is max if you care about his health. we use doctor lynn. just had an emergency with one of our cats. she is fantastic. We did use cuddles but it felt like a factory. The street cats often like the junk food relative to the nutritious food. Sad but true. One cat we cannot change her eating habits. She rather die than eat homemade food and wet food. Cats are known for kidney issues. Glad you have such a good family member.

My Grandmothers Siamese cat died after the flea treatment she frothed at the mouth. Back in 2013 I alerted staff at a Petshop that the kittens they brought back from the vet and had just had flea treatment were frothing at the mouth. It’s poison. Our cats have never ever had any fleas and we do not put those treatments on our cats.

Hi Taylor! I'm glad Earl Gray got a good check up! He did so well with the Vet it seemed. Other cats might have been aggressive with the vet when trying to examine them. I loved it when he showed up in the room while you were walking about him while filming, almost like he came in on cue! I really wish more countries develop economical ways to neuter and spay dogs and cats. Here in the US, it is still somewhat expensive for many. I read somewhere that scientists are in the works of developing an oral contraceptive for female cats, but will be a few more years before that might be available.

Many years ago, my beautiful tuxedo cat was taken to an emergency regional animal hospital. He howled with pain because he could not urinate. At the hospital, he finally relieved himself. The vet confirmed that he had a urinary tract problem. He was given medication. Only a very expensive dry cat food purchased from a vet was allowed to be consumed. He became healthy and lived for many years. Eventually, he had diabetes also. Injections were administered once a day. The cat sitter forgot to inject the diabetic medicine a few times when I was on vacation. The poor cat died.

Whenever i go on holidays, i board my cat at his favourite cat boarding hotel which is more than 20km away ... which can take up to an hour's drive depending on the traffic - so technically he goes off on a holiday too! I just dont have the heart to put him at any other cat hotels although they are plenty at where I am staying - there's one that is just a walking distance from my home but I just cant bear to think of how miserable my poor Kitty cat will be. I do hope you will be able to find a better cat boarding for Mr Earl Grey.

over around quayside poison was left on the walkway every so often. the association denied responsibility, but they did call animal welfare and post notices about stray cats. Maybe just a coincidence. Enjoy Earl.

My cat got UTI last year and costed me rm1300 for ward, blood works and catheterisation. And same, he has to eat only royal canin urinary SO. He’s just a normal malaysian shorthair! Not foreign breed or anything lol love him. Repeat renal profile for a cat is rm200+. I’m a human doctor and whole blood panel of fbc, rp, lft, cholesterol, uric acic, diabetic workup is just rm60 lol 😂.

Yes, re: feline urinary tract issue. I had 2 male cats that had this and I was feeding them high quality cat food (and they still got it anyhow). I would just give them a small amount of wet food (a couple of sardines or a little bit of cooked chicken) as a treat once a week along with the vet biscuits like you give Earl Grey now. Just for a little variety and it didn't upset my cats condition. ❤️

I try to avoid vet visits as much as possible. Since my cats are 100% indoors, I don't get them vaxed or dewormed except for the first two years. I don't like exposing them to all the possible pathogens in the clinics. So far, all of my older cats have gone beyond 10 years unvaxed with no issues. On food, I give wet and dry. Wet food is all protein, either freeze-dried raw chicken meat and offal, cooked meat or canned - and I add water. Dry is kibble with minimum 70% protein and no grains content. Kibble are splashed with water, approx 1 full teaspoon per 30 to 40 kibble - yes the kibble often get a little soggy but the cats are used to it.

Dog aren't diety, but theirs saliva from the islamisches view isn't clean. It's a lot of having a clean prayer place and the prayer washing. I think for many Malay it's just headache. Cats are easier an there ate traditionsreiche about Prophet Muhammad and his love for cats. But all animals are a creation of Allah and dogs are in the Quran described as companion and guard and there are also hadith about giving a thirst dog water. I just found your channel and subscribed.
