It's infuriating that these agencies needs to exist, I love my animals so so much. I treat them as if they are my children and show them all the love I have to give them. I just don't get how and why people are so cruel and lazy. Thank you to everyone involved in giving these animals a voice and for protecting them

They need to give real children this type of care who is already in they system. The children that are being molested from priest, children who are being abused in the system! Itself. If you can not see that children anAND humane should be treated and respected and the end of racism ,stealing resohrces fro! Africa to make Europe better and rich while keeping Africa poor. Stealing African animals to be brought to Europe is another on which they steal African wildlife and having them brought to Europe. Wen its not thry home. Europe does not have a safari or needs ome. You want a safari go to africa.

As a professional dog trainer & rehabilitator I must say that leaving dogs alone at home for a few hours isn’t a bad thing. If anything keeping a dog glued to you 24/7 is the bad thing because then if you & that dog ever have to be apart it is gonna cause major stress on your dog, it can make them sick & it can even kill them believe it or not. Smothering something with love isn’t the answer.

I'm truly not sure what I'd do if I ever saw someone punching a dog or hitting one with a board. The only times in my life I've come close to fighting with a stranger was when I saw animals being mistreated. And it was no where near what these video clips display. After seeing this things happen for so many years now (I'm in my 60's), I wish these people would not only get jail time /fines/banned from ever having animals again. But I would like to see those that are really awful also have to suffer the same treatment they put these defenseless animals through. Stop having lions, gorilllas, and other African animals in Europe and if er catch any of the Europeans ,Americans have an animal that was found in Africa and belongs to an African country from the beginning will face so charges. If they have giraffe, zebras, African elephant, African antelope, gorillas, monkeys, birds, snakes etc

It goes to show you that people can watch the police dog handlers on KZbin and get the wrong ideas. There is a lot more training which goes into getting a dog to perform in the way they do in the shorts where you see a dog bringing down a man dressed in a thick dog proof suit. The K9 dog units animals are normally only handled by a single officer. If you see footage where K9 dogs actually search for and bring down a criminal you will see that the other officers at the location keep a wide berth between the dog and themselves unless the K9 officer has the animal on a short leash. We have a beautiful German Shepherd and because of her size alone strangers keep their distance and won't try to get into the property. She is sweet and affectionate but if a stranger comes into the property without our knowledge she quickly turns into another type of beast. But if she sees that we ourselves accept the visitor she will be very alert but calm. Beating a dog will only break its spirit. Fortunately that dog was rescued in time but if a dogs spirit is totally broken they are totally useless as a guard dog or even a pet. Euthanasia is the unfortunate option for such an animal. I have been brought up with dogs all my life and it does not matter what size your dog is, they can be as small as a Yorkshire Terrier or as big as a rottweiler, if you love them and they love you they will always warn you if there is someone or something trespassing in your property. Their barking gives you the opportunity to either make sure you are secure and safe or allows you the time to call the police to come in time to protect you. A police officer told me that normally a seriously dangerous criminal will first kill a dangerous dog on the property and this action then allows them to invade your space without fear unless you are armed. But unless you have the proper training on how to use your firearms in such a situation, if they know you have them these items may actually make you a target because they will think you must have something worthwhile protecting or they may want to rob you of your firearms. Eventually it is the responsibility of every home owner to make sure that they have taken proper security measures. Decent locks on the home, burglar bars, secure fences and gates with locks and if you are in a volatile area metal gates in front of your doors (both back and front), security cameras are also a good deterrent to criminals: These besides a good dog will help you to feel safer in your home. How much of these security measures you have depends a lot on your home situation and location. But as far as a guard dog goes, if you feel vulnerable get a pooch with a good set of lungs and dont ignore them if they bark a lot. They are your alarm bell.

And if you were "playing" with him he wouldn't have made those cries that he did. And you wouldn't have shaken off your hands after you were "playing." Glad someone was able to document it or it probably would have just continued to happen. Sadly. I have never seen collars like that here in USA. I dislike the prong ones we have here. What I have learned in my years of rescuing Feral cats is just look into the eyes, if the spark is still there then you fight with all you have to get them trough whatever they are going through. Anyone who would abuse an animal or child belongs behind bars. What in the hell does anyone who beats a dog expect it to do, crouch with tail between it's legs, or run up happy to do your bidding? Abuse includes neglect, starving, on too short of a leed for too long, left out in unsafe conditions due to extreme heat or cold, lack of water, lack of regular love and affection, inflicting any type of pain. People who abuse should never be parents or own animals!

He came to our house one day and just stayed. I found the people who owned him before, they didn't want him anymore and had just turned him out and shut the door. I promised them he would be well loved and believe me is!! He's part Lab and part Border Collie. Just an amazing dog. The previous owners must have spent a lot of time training him. I have to give them credit for that. We own our home and have a 1/2 acre for Jack to run. Part of the yard is fenced for Jack's protection. I think he and Rex would enjoy each others company.

I really wish the US had this type of program and took animal abuse and neglect more seriously. I have reported severe neglect only to have the dog Returned to the abuser/neglecter, or worse - they didn't answer the door so the cops just left. I have seen dogs die because of neglect and abuse that was Reported yet the dogs were not removed from care also. It is heartbreaking.

Some of these owners are barely coping themselves, but there's something fundamentally wrong when we allow these people to retain custody of neglected and/or abused animals. Its the height of selfishness to hold onto animals for own gratification at cost of animal suffering.

These owners can't even be hygienic themselves , as well as maintain a clean environment, and take proper care of themselves. How could these individuals give proper care and exercise for their dogs, if they can't even maintain the basic level of care for their environment and themselves? They shouldn't have any pets, much less a dog.

There’s another test you should make mandatory, an IQ test for Ollie’s owners and most others that can’t seem to listen to what they need to do for their pets!

Just watched the live and totally loved it. I am on my third Rottweiler and all girls I totally agree very protective of me but once she sees I talk to am friendly with the person she is drops guard unless a quick movement on other party will then she lets them know no no no. My other 2 girls lived 14 yrs old and I had two Great Dane very loving 1st lived 16 yrs and 2nd 14 yrs but my last one lived with my Rotti and they were great together. I hope you can provide some good trade of thoughts what’s best on senior dogs my girl is 8 very healthy very protective no complaints but many people I see don’t help them live longer wether do to food or amount of excise. Thank you for you love for the dogs. ❤

I will never understand why anyone whould get an animal just to abuse it!!! that person, the black dogs owner, knows that's abuse.. yet she/he ties that poor dog and for some insane reason, thinks the dog wont feel pain!! I'm so glad he was rescued!!

Zeus’s owner seems like a criminal. Lying outright that he was playing with the dog when he was clearly beating him. That man should be prosecuted.

I’m an 80-year-old mother, grandmother and animal lover in Texas, USA, and I just love this channel and have such respect for your RSPCA in the UK. I’m here for the animal rescues, but I also adore seeing your beautiful country scenery. Your countryside is so very GREEN!!! and VERDANT!!! I love Texas but it does get very hot and we have a few months where some of our vegetation goes very brown. Having been born American eighty years ago, I often wondered about my fascination with so many things British and Irish (history, literature, etc.) until I had my DNA tested through an ancestry site and the results showed I am 67% British and 13% Irish (so 80% total), and I was able to trace some of my ancestors’ names from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland over 700-800 years ago. I’m subscribed to some channels featuring rescue groups and veterinarians in the UK and even Australia, and it’s obvious that Britons love animals, but sadly-like too many of us here in America-there are far too many people who mistreat their pets, requiring animal rescue groups to have to step in to help them. There are some lovely, compassionate, heroic people shown on this channel.

@@marlenehellmann8223 Why would you say that? Or even care? I’m an American, and I love being an American, and all my family is here in America. Why would I want to move away? The ancestors of all Americans have come here from other countries, except for Native American Indians. I have always read a lot of books, and after I had my DNA tested, I had the thought that the results may have had something to do with some of my reading choices, although it probably did not. Our DNA explains a lot of things about us, but mine does not make me want to move. Nor does your weird suggestion.

These are wonderful shows and I love what these people are doing for these animals! The problem is, in reality, here in America, veterinarians have become an absolute rip off! I want to help many animals but I cannot afford veterinarian prices! They will gladly put your animal down for 150 bucks if that’s all you can afford.
